It went silent for a moment but then they started walking again, into the village. Leilly rubbed her hand against the rainbow melon, and Thought about what might happen to Kulu, is Creak going to do something bad to her. Until, they came to a stop. “Leilly you can come out now.” She heard Kulu say, “ok.” she replied and got out of the melon, “wait where did Marre and Jeoa go?” She asked, “They went to their hut. I still live with my parents though, they’re out hunting now so don’t worry. Lucky you didn’t run into them though.” she said jokingly but Leilly could hear the worry in her voice, “they'd rip you to shreds.”
Leily walked around the room, and saw a picture on a shelf it had Kulu, Marre, Jeoa, and also four other beasts 'probably their parents’, and also another beast around the size of Kulu they were pastel green with a little pink splotches here and there, and they had a flower tucked behind their ear. They looked gentler than others, their claws were dull unlike the others, they had a softer color palette, and their whole body was covered in flowers, they looked like they were a completely different species. Leilly didn’t know who that was, and the beasts never mentioned them, so she had no clue who they were. She was confused on who that monster was, but Kulu called her to her room, and she followed, unable to check the rest of the hut out.
“You can hide here until my sister and Jeoa get here.” Kulu said, “Wait, why aren’t you taking me now.”, Leilly asked concerningly, “I'm afraid I might not be here for much longer.” Kulu said anxiously, “ l have to go now.”, and she rushed out the door leaving the frightened princess in the room.
