We crouched down simultaneously in the corner of the spacious wooden floored practice room.I once again watched the starting demo choreography of the song, I counted the beats, replaying the choreo in my head.

"It seems like you can do a lot with this beat, what did you come up with so far?"He seemed focused on the screen.

"See i didn't think that part through, I just have to compromise, I practiced with the dance instructor for abit through the whole choreography but I'm stuck on the ending and I'm thinking of changing some things."

"Ok let's see then."

After stretching for abit I got into my starting position.

"You're kind of scary when you're serious like this, just remember not everyone is as good as you at dancing man.Infact-."I rambled.

My rant was disturbed by a snicker.I couldn't help but smile goofily as he tried to hide his smile, a dimple clearly showing through.

"Hey that distraction won't work on me."He quickly replied

I nodded,

"Alright thanks a lot."

I sighed once more, praying to not suddenly trip on air or go completely off beat;
which usually never happens but it wouldn't be surprising with my luck that I would deviate from my painfully mediocre dancing skills and mess up infront of him.

Once the music started I Thought back to practicing alone in the early mornings the choreo where I was a little more energised and was alone.

It wasn't as bad as I thought once it was over, Probably the most difficult part about it was the hand work and working with invisible back up dancers.

"I think that was pretty good, I guess it just looks off when there's not that backup dancer number 2."

after some moment of silence and watching his expression closely as he contemplated for a while.

He leaned off of the wall approaching me,

"Maybe, let's do it together, I'll try keep up with you."

I paused, looking up

"Well If you say so."I shrugged

My eyes followed his figure through the mirror as he stopped to stand beside me.

I stood up more straight, getting into position as I began counting the beats.
