"Why do we have to leave here dad? You know I have my only friends here, you know how hard it was to find them and now I have to lose them." exclaimed Ricky with a lump in his throat and with a trembling voice while he organized his clothes in the suitcases that were on his bed, his father reminded him why they were moving "Son you know very well the economic situation we have been in these last months, and going to this new city where I have a guaranteed job with better pay is the best thing, your mother and I want to assure a future for our only son." For Ricky this idea of moving was a total hell, he didn't want to lose his friends after all the years he had spent with them, besides he is a shy guy who finds it hard to socialize and talk to new people because of his past.
A couple of hours had passed since the news of the move and Ricky still couldn't believe he was going to lose his friends, especially the boy he liked at the time, but he had no choice but to leave. Ricky took his respective suitcases and with his father's help he went down the stairs of that house where he had lived and made so many memories throughout his youth, he felt sad but somehow he had to assimilate that he was not going to be able to stay and his destiny was to close a cycle of his life and start a new one in a new city. He took a last look at the whole house remembering many things he did and lived there, before leaving through the door he went out of the house. He took a last look at the whole house remembering many things he did and lived there, before leaving through the door a couple of tears came out because he knows that there will be no turning back, after remembering many things from his past he is ready to let it go, he leaves the house and closes the door with a small smile of nostalgia, remembering how it was the first time he opened that door that now he will not be able to open again.

He let out a small sigh as he opened the door of his father's car to get in and leave everything behind.

The car began to move forward, and Ricky said his last goodbye to the city where he had grown up and enjoyed moments with his few friends, but already leaving the city he could accept the fact that he was not going to return, and that he was going to have a new life in another city.

After a long trip of 5 hours in the car and most of the time Ricky was sleeping in it, they finally arrived to the city; Ricky lowered the window and started to admire the city where he was going to live for the rest of his life, smiling when he saw those places that he liked and that he was going to visit at some point in his life. A couple of minutes later they arrived at his new house, Ricky got out of the car without any expression, turning around a little bit to be able to visualize his new neighborhood, but he stopped the turn in a moment when he could see a boy on the other side of the street, the boy was outside his house sitting next to his guitar; Ricky remained completely still  Ricky quickly hid behind the car, raising one of his hands a little to be able to return that greeting smiling nervously, after feeling a nervousness that he had not felt for a while, he proceeds to walk quickly to his new home.

Ricky, enters his new house which he will have to get used to in every way, but his father exclaims to him
"Son, you have to get everything organized for your first day of school." Making Ricky go upstairs to his new room where there was a big mirror, he stood in front of it, sighing, smiling to himself and saying:

"Everything will be fine Ricky, you can handle this, you will have the best year of your life, and your best first day"
