you sat on the kitchen counter, with a tub of vanilla ice cream infront of you. it was currently 3am, and you missed your boyfriend hyunjin. currently he was working at the studio with bangchan and felix. they were recording, so he had to come home late. you knew this, however you still missed him. you groaned softly before leaning back, your back touching the cupboards that were a few centimetres from the counter where you sat. you scrolled on your phone as you ate the icecream. ice cream was your comfort food, for obvious reasons. you continued this process for around twenty more minutes until you heard the front door open. you didn't bother to look up and continued eating your ice cream.
"ah!" you heard a high pitch shriek and looked up to see hyunjin standing in the doorway.
"what's wrong?" you ask him, confused on why he screamed.
"nothing, nothing. i just didn't expect you to be awake. why aren't you asleep darling?" he put his keys next to where you sat, and he approached you.
"나는 당신을 그리워했다." (i missed you.) you mumble as you looked down. he chuckled and stood in-between your legs. he playfully kissed your neck before pulling away and smiling at you.
"hyunjin~ what are you doing~?" you asked, looking away whilst blushing.
"nothing darling." he caressed your cheek while smiling at you. you looked up at him before feeding him a bite of ice cream. as soon as he ate it, he scrunched his eyebrows and squeezed his eyes shut.
"it's cold y/n!" he whined, burying his face in your chest.
"it's in the name. ice cream. ice." you giggled, moving his blonde hair out of his face. his blonde hair was tied into a bun, with two strands of hair out which stood by his face.
"네 머리는 누가 했어?" (who did your hair?) you ask him with a curious look.
he looked up at you. "felix did it." he said, still with the scrunched face on.
"it suits you." you said with a soft smile as you move his hair out of his face.
