Only her eyes were squinted. She has been waiting for how long? Her head was spinning so fast that she couldn't even recall if she had taken one or two naps already.

She noticed the ticking of the clock. She's disappointed since not a single consumer has entered. She kept casting frequent glances in various directions.

The timer strikes nine.

A small scowl appeared on the flower's face as she pushed the chair aside with her back before getting up and arching her back. Only the small sign hanging by the entrance was visible when she fixed her unmoving gaze on it. She frequently considered redoing it, adding more glitter, or do something.

What did I do? Her mind wandered, and she believed she wanted to tumble to the ground already.

She flipped over the sign that was always hung there and then discovered herself in front of the entryway.

The statement "We're closed." She muttered, reading aloud the words on the sign covered in pink glitter. When she sees it, she can't help but smile a little. It always made her day.

With just a slight glimpse outside the attractively adorned door, Leafy was only observed distantly skimming a book. She smiled and gave Flower a quick glance; Flower grinned back and moved back.

This was the usual procedure. The door creaked loudly before opening slightly more as she grabbed the keys out of her sweater.

A longtime 'friend', Lollipop, was preventing the door from shutting with her foot as Flower momentarily looked up. She had a smirk all the time. It has always disappointed Flower. Her head was too foggy to even think clearly, making it difficult for her to find the words she was trying to say. When did she have her beauty sleep?

"Oh my..-" Flower hesitated before carrying on, "Did you not to read the sign?" The sassy contestant grinned as the flower made a little frowning motion once more. She wishes she had the power to remove that grin.

"That was quite rude, Flower" Lollipop murmured in a hushed tone. In an attempt to make herself feel at home, she replied in a snarky manner and pushed open the door. "What have we got here?" It's always the diverse patterns and glitter, of course, Lollipop surveyed the racks of sweaters. There has been no change.

"Oh, for petals sake. Why are you here?" the plant groaned. Spinning nervously around and crossing her arms. She wasn't really certain why she was this way, but she wasn't trying to hide it.

"I just need some glitter."

After a little period of silence, Flower turned to face her and wore a displeased look. She didn't seem to be particularly persuaded. "I had a feeling you didn't like-"

"Just the glitter, please, Flower."

The short plant halt in their tracks as Lollipop places her cold hand on her shoulder. "Will you or won't you give it to me? Her brows were raised. "..Flower?" She placed her cold hand on her shoulder. "Will you or won't you give it to me? Her brows were raised.

"Oh..- yes..!" Flower jolted them out of their thoughts and hurried to a well-known tiny box. She didn't worry that it was worn out because it was significant to her. The anxious plant noticed Lollipop's hands on her hips, which caused her to gently turn as she drew attention to herself. "Are you certain that you didn't-" Lollipop continued, then grinned, which enraged Flower. "Take the diary? Where were you when we were looking for it?" She added.

Flower was annoyed by the constant repetition of the same question. Doesn't that make her tired? Oh my gardener, she just wants to bolt in anger and never return. She was limited to groaning.

"Look-" The plant replied inaudibly as she carefully avoided breaking one of her best bottles of purple glitter while holding it. "That happened... that was two weeks ago, okay? I didn't steal anything!" She cried out.

Making sure Flower saw it, the snarky contestant rolled her eyes at her in mockery. "Yuh-uh." She pointed her finger at Flower, but all she got in return was a disgruntled "nuh-uh" from the plant.
Lollipop replied by crossing her arms. "You do realize you're being very obvious." Lollipop retorted while crossing their arms and grinning slightly.

Before approaching her and thrusting the glitter into her hands, the flower rolled their eyes and said, "There, go away." Making Lollipop nearly dizzy. "I think I've got better things to do." Flower went on, fixing her sweater.

Again rolling her eyes, Lollipop remarked, "Whatever you say, fashion queen." gazing at the glitter bottle she was holding. "Perhaps, I'll see you at the challenge," As she disappeared from view, her voice grew faint.

Before closing her eyes, Flower remained there and watched as she headed out.

Then it was dark.

"Alright contestants." Four called out making sure they were listening. "We have a new challenge today, first things first-" they raised their finger.

"Wait, Four, what about the-"

ZAP!

"We have some new rules here, so listen up." They ignored Gelatin who was face-planting on the grass behind them as they rolled their eyes and glanced at the co-host who smiled briefly.

Flower soon caught Lollipop's attention out of the corner of her eye as the smaller co-host went on to describe their "amazing" plan. Flower couldn't help but gaze at Lollipop as she was in fact leaning on the bench with a grin on her face, staring at her.

As the two contestants locked eyes, they seemed to engage in a silent communication. A minute passed slowly, each holding the other's gaze without blinking. After the minute, the sassy contestant shifted slightly, their smile dropping just a bit. She turned to Blocky with a small smirk, which Blocky met with a thumbs up.

What the heck just happened?
