flashback to 6 years ago
"NO PLEASE STOP LET HER GO PLEASE" i begged for my psycho dad to stop beating on momma. "SHUT UP YOU WHORE OR YOU'RE NEXT" i flinched with tears streaming down my cheeks. 'why is he doing this'  'will he kill us'  'will we escape' While letting my thoughts consume me i hear a loud bang that made my ears ring. Mommas on the floor in a pool of blood, so so so much blood.

*end of flashback*

The worst moment of my life. Still to this day i have nightmares about it, i wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy. I miss her so much i wish she was still here.

The beach reminds me of her. There's this perfect spot i go to everyday in my free time. Just to be alone and listen to music, music as in frank ocean i love him so much i'd marry him if i could but i'm pretty sure he's not into minors.

I'm currently sitting in down on the big rock listening to pink+white. From the corner of my eye i see a boy. He's wearing plain white swimming trunks, he has hazel eyes and brown hair, his body is pretty fit too. He sits down next to me just staring at the ocean not even acknowledging that i'm here. I pause my music and take one airpods out just to admire the beautiful human that i don't know. "Hello" i try to make a conversation with the stranger that just sat by me. "Hey" the stranger says quietly still staring at the ocean. "What's your name mines is Mariah. Mariah west" I'm not good with interactions. "Saint woodland" the stranger now known as saint says still staring at the ocean. I didn't know what to say after that so we just sat in silence. A comfortable one.

Finally he looks at me. "What we're you listening to?" he ask "Frank ocean wanna listen with me?" i smile while handing him my right airpod. "Sure." He smiles back taking the airpod out the palm of my hand. His smile is absolutely gorgeous. Again, we sit in comfortable silence till the song ends. "I love frank ocean you have great taste" Saint says with a closed mouth smile as he hands back my airpod. "Thanks, he's my favorite. Change of topic but may i ask why you're here? Not to be rude an anyway of course i just would like to know like- you know.

He chuckles before saying "You looked sad and lonely. So I came to bless you with my presence."

"Im not sad or lonely, That's very offensive do i actually look depressed?" i say staring at him with a confused expression.

"Kidding, this has been my spot for years i was curious to see why you popped up all of a sudden." he says looking back at the ocean

"No this has been MY spot for years and not once have i ever seen you here." i say emphasizing the 'my'.

He chuckles again before saying "That's because i only come at nights, it's more peaceful" he says

"So then why are you here at daytime?" i ask out of curiosity

"I got into an argument with someone and i had no where else to go to clear my mind" he says looking back at me.

"Oh i'm sorry to hear that. Are you feeling better?" i ask.

"Yeah way better. Only because of you" He says while still staring at me.

For some reason that made my heart skip a beat

I smile at his comment going to say something back when my phone rang, a text from aria my best and only friend saying "BITCH WHERE ARE YOU?!?!!!?"

Oh shit i forgot we were supposed to be having a sleepover over hers tonight for our first day back.

"Shit." i say grabbing my phone "It was nice talking with you but i really have to go, bye." i say standing up and walking away before he can even say a word back.

I hop inside my kia k5 and start driving as fast as i could to arias place. Not too fast of course.

I arrive there in 7 minutes, not too bad. I already have everything packed for tomorrow in my duffle bag in the backseat. I go to grab my bag and knock on her door.

She opens it with a wide smile and engulfs me in a hug. "I missed you so much." she says pulling away.
"Aria you just saw me yesterday." i say staring at her.

"So what?" before i could say something back she grabs my hand, closes the front door while locking it and pulls me upstairs to her room.

"Are you excited for tomorrow?" She ask flopping on top of her bed.

"No not at all, why does school even exist anyway." i rolling my eyes.

"Come onnnn it won't be that bad you're just overthinking things. Let's watch shameless to get your mind off of it."

after 3 hours of shameless we finally drifted off to sleep.

Tomorrows gonna be a long day.
