•••There was no exchange of words in that span of the next two months.
The exchange of those scribbles stopped and even though their mailboxes were full of mail it still felt empty for the both of them. It was like something was missing.
They both felt as if they had lost something.
But what was it that they lost exactly? Is it just those words written on those papers? Or was it their feelings that got tired and vanished already?Nevertheless, they still went on with their days, waking up early, checking the mail, going to work, all was going well. Both of them chose not to talk to each other but sometimes they couldn't help but secretly glance at each other.
And this one time came when Jungkook saw Taehyung struggling at closing his own balcony's sliding door. Jungkook couldn't comprehend what his neighbour was doing but when he looked a little closer,
The door looked like it was stuck..?
Jungkook could only sigh as he saw the blonde still trying to close his balcony's sliding door.
He could see how he struggled to pull the left door to slide it close with his grunts and the endless curses because he was unsuccessful.
Jungkook snortles at this as he could see how weak Taehyung's arms looked whilst he was forcing the door to close. He badly wanted to laugh seeing his neighbor's stressed face.
However being the good neighbour he is, he climbed downstairs and walked outside going straight to the yard below his neighbor's balcony.
As he looked up, a moment before he was going to ask if he wanted any help, he had second thoughts about what he was going to do.
He hadn't talked to him in 2 months, asking if he needed help would only make things more awkward.
Even so, with all the confidence he had, he managed to shout it out.
"Need some help there?!" He asked with he most nonchalant tone he could do.
Taehgung looked down and the moment he saw Jungkook he rolled his eyes and got back to trying to close his sliding door.
"I don't need your help, thank you very much." He replied annoyed, focusing on the sliding door instead of his neighbour.
"Are you sure about that? You looked like you were struggling since earlier!" Jungkook yelled so Taehyung could hear him but all he got was inaudible murmurs.
"I don't mean to be rude, actually I do, but don't you think you're being a bit nosy?"
Jungkook's eyebrows furrowed.
"Fine, I was just trying to help since you looked like a grandma trying to open a pickle jar, you should seriously work out if you can't even close a sliding door," He yelled back, definitely making sure he heard that, "I guess I'm going then!"
Jungkook then started to walk away slowly, not missing Taehyung's reply."MY GRANDMA CAN OPEN ANY PICKLE JAR IN THE WORLD, YOU JERK!"
Taehyung shouted with all his might but
Jungkook was sort of enjoying it so he was smiling on his inside. At least they talked.
