"Kenu ano ba kasi 'yon? Bakit pinagsuot mo pa ako ng white dress? Gabi na, oh." pagrereklamo ko. Sinabihan niya kasi akong pumunta sa park kung saan kami laging tumatamday dati.

"Hawakan mo 'to. Then I'll wait for you there sa may dulo, okay? Just do it, pretty please?"

"Kasi naman."

"Hoy, Phoeb, gawin mo na. Kanina pa kami naghihintay dito, oh."

"Bakit kayo nandito?"

"To witness the very special moment of the two of you. Kahit dito manlang."

"Ikakasal rin naman bukas. Bakit may ganito pa."

I did what he said. I walked slowly until I reached where he was. I should enjoy this moment. This would be the last time, I know.

"Let us proceed sa vows na, it's getting late."

"Okay. We have to eat altogether pa later, after this."

"I will go first."

"Kenu, we have been through a lot througout this relationship. I can say that there are times that I feel like we wanted to give up everything because how tired we get but at some point, we didn't. That is the one in the million things that I like about you. You never gave up. You will always choose to keep on fighting and that was my most favorite part that I have learned from you, and I can say that it helped me a lot. I remember back then, when we started being friend and you found out that I am having my period, you ran as fastly as you can to get me a pads without you feeling shy about it. You even asked the cashier if what is the best thing that a woman with a period can eat, and you bought it for me. That was way back in high school. I also remember when we were just feeling things, like when you confessed to me and that was before our examination day so I rejected you because I don't want my mind to be crowded by things that are not my priority at first. I thought that was over for us, I liked you back then but I confessed when we graduated junior high school. While I was reviewing, you messaged me to asked me if I have a time to go out for a minute because you have something to give, and it was a chocolates, you said it can help me have more energy to review. Kenu, I am so grateful to have met you in this lifetime, and if I will be given a chance, I would still find you after life. You know my struggles and you never failed to make me feel validated eveytime I feel so lost and as if the world is against me. Thank you for making me feel that I was enough all the risk and loved, like I deserve to be loved without reservations. I appreciate all the things you do for me to make me happy and feel important, from the little things you do until to the biggest, it was all worth it because I appreciate them all. I would always wish you a great life. Jourden, I am your forever bestfriend and always will be. Thank you for this wholesome memory that I will carry for a lifetime. You never failed to make me happy, really," I said while crying.

"Phoe, I will be forever grateful that you came into my life. You became the brightiest star alive. You shine so bright that I forgot that I was in the dark all the time. I will always do all the things that will make you happy, excited, and sad but in a good way. You know how bad I am with words but I am trying some impromptu here. Phoeb, promise me that you will always be there, huh? This might be selfish, I know, but I can't bear to be in the dark again, my own brightest star. I will always love you on your past, present, and future. I love you beyond these words, my love. As you said, we will always be each other's best friend. Nothing will change."

Tonight will become the best memory for me to keep. This would be the last, and I enjoyed.

Today is the wedding. I just wear the gown that I was supposed to wear,  I just curled my long hair and have it down. My make up artist did my make up since we have it here. I am now here at the event. This is the special day for me. A very special day.

While I was at the end of the aisle, the song for the wedding suddenly played.

Looks like we made it
Look how far we've come, my baby
We mighta took the long way
We knew we'd get there someday
They said, "I bet they'll never make it"
But just look at us holding on
We're still together, still going strong

As I walked down the aisle I looked at him. He's crying a tears of joy, I'm nearly at the end.

I smiled at him as I see him cry.

Ain't nothin' better
We beat the odds together
I'm glad we didn't listen
Look at what we would be missin '

He looked at me with his eyes saying sorry.

He's always like that.

They said, "I bet they'll never make it"
But just look at us holding on
We're still together, still going strong

The groom.

You're still the one I run to
The one that I belong to
You're still the one I want for life
(You're still the one)

My best friend.

You're still the one that I love
The only one I dream of

My one call away.

You're still the one I kiss goodnight
You're still the one

My human diary.

Yeah (you're still the one)
You're still the one I run to

My shoulder to cry on.

The one that I belong to
You're still the one I want for life, oh yeah (you're still the one)

Ang aking sandigan.

You're still the one that I love
The only one I dream of

My almost.

You're still the one I kiss goodnight

My 'could have been'.

I'm so glad we made it
Look how far we've come, my baby

I smiled at him and mouthed "Be happy" and I went to the other side where the one holding the flowers shall sit. I can finally see him happy not with me.

But with his now wife.

The one that I've been with since I was a toddler

The one that I've been with when I got my first

When I got my first crush

When I graduated in pre-school

When I graduated in elementary

 High school

Senior High School

College

The one I ran to when I got my first boyfriend

My sister.
