Father has informed mother and I that he will be bringing over Mr. Fawcett's son, Adlen. I don't remember if I ever wrote about him, but the last time he was here he struck up quite the friendship with Leslie. They talked for hours, and father didn't even attempt to stop him! I'm not even allowed to talk to my betrothed like that yet, and he's just a complete stranger!,

Speaking of Leslie and Adlen, she's been in the bath all morning, trying to get as pretty as possible for him. I'm very happy to see her excited about something.

Last night I saw at a meeting, disguised as an older Muggleborn ginger woman named Allie. Harry didn't join me this time, he had a meeting with Father and Riddle. I wish that father would just stop going to those meetings, he says he can't. SOMETHING is bothering him, and he won't tell us why.

"I want to learn occlumency." Hermione said, standing over Dumbledore's desk.

The old man looked up at her, over his half-moon glasses, "and why would that be?"

"Oh, don't ask dumb questions Albus, you know why I would need to learn it. I'm going to need to get close to," Hermione breathed through her nose, and blew out the air, "the Death Eaters, I need to get within the inner circle. So, help me Albus or I won't be helping you."

"If that's what you want. Meet me here in three," Dumbledore said, "don't you forget the Order meeting tonight."

"I won't sir."

Hermione sat on the cold metal stool, listening to Slughorn ramble on and on about a fellow student's father, Regulus sat to her left, stabbing the table with his quill. "Stop." She hissed.

"Sorry." He mumbled, he stopped and started to shake his leg. "What are you doing this Yule?" He whispered.

"Staying here I suppose." Slughorn still kept rambling about Lord Selwyn's greatness.

"Oh." He said, turning back to the front of the room. "Leslie," he said, turning back to her.

"What?"

"Do you want to come to my house this year?" He whispered, not meeting her eyes.

Hermione pondered for a moment. Bellatrix, maybe just maybe. "Yes, I'd love to."

Regulus noticeably relaxed.

Hermione wished she had Harry's cloak right now. She hid in the shadows of the corridor, attempting to get to the entrance hall without running into any Prefects or Filch.
