The Grave's Temptation

Chapter 2

Zuri stood up from her bed and went to her bathroom to start her daily activities.
She took a brush and toothpaste and then put the toothpaste in her brush then started to brush her teeth while looking at the mirror.

She is thinking about the things she saw in her dream. Suddenly she remembered that she was fallen down in the mud in dream. She quickly pulled up her left pajama up to her knee to see whether she has a cut in her knee.

"Thank God"

She said and sighed in relief as there were no cuts in her knees.

"I should also check here!"

She said and then pulled her right pajama.

"Uhh!"

She again sighed in relief as there were also no cuts.

After a few minutes..

Zuri is now ready to go to her school she took her school bag and went downstairs.

"Hey!"

Her older brother Zean slapped in her shoulder from behind that made Zuri to lean forward. She quickly stood straight and looked at her brother who was in front of her.

"Hey Zean!What's up? You are looking cheerful! "

Zuri said it and lift her right eyebrow up and grinned. Zean looked behind at her and chuckled.

"Nothing much but today is a special day!"

Zean said with a smiley face.

"Oh really!"

Zuri said it and grinned while crossing her arms.

"Good morning!"

Suddenly their mother told it while stading behind them.They both looked back.

"Good morning mom."

They both said with a happy face.

"Okay let's have a breakfast. Otherwise we'll be all late."

Her mother said they all went to their dinning room.

Their dinning room is very neat and well decorated.There is a huge table along with few chairs.Their house is a duplex house and it has 6 rooms with bathrooms. Zuri's mother is a fashion designer.And her father is an engineer.

They all pulled their chair together and sat in it.There is omlet, peanut butter,bread and 3 glass milk for everyone.

"Okay everyone let's eat!"

Zuri said it and started eating.Her mother and brother also started eating.

But suddenly Zuri's smiley face became pale.Her mother noticed it while eating.

"Is anything wrong?"Her mother asked.

"N-No mom."Zuri said.

Suddenly Zean started to talk.

"Mom last night I heard Zuri was screaming. I wanted to go but then I saw you were going in to her room.(looking at Zuri)Did you saw a nightmare last night?"

"I-I think!"Zuri said with a shaky voice.

"What was is about?"Zean asked.

"I- I forgot!"Zuri lied.

" Oh!That's fine then!"Zean said.

Suddenly Zuri changed the topic.

"Um.Mom!When will father come.He was gone for a few months!"Zuri asked.

" He said he will come back soon.So don't worry!"Her mother said.

"That's good then!"Zuri said.

Suddenly Zuri grabbed her bag and stood up.
