3rd person POV:
It has been 9 months since the fateful meeting of our cat and butterfly, but sadly, all good things must come to an indefinite end. Some ends may have sequels, but some don't. But aince this is a love story about a cat chasing a butterfly, it will most definitely continue.
Y/N is already talking to the CEO and is planning when he'll transfer to HYBE. Hoping that it would be sooner so that his best friend could cope with him leaving. He was already thinking about hiw things will go. Will they be separated? Will they sever their ties to one another? Will they forget each other? Will they never see each other again?
And while some of those are possible, I don't think some will even be a possiblity in this world.

As the meeting ended, the CEO gave him one last sentence
"Y/N, good luck out there. I'll be rooting for your debut."
"Haaah. Now to tell Rei." "Tell me what?" "Holy-! Rei! When did you get here?" "Oh I just got here. So...? What were you going to tell me? That you've fallen for me?" "No. It's that...my contract is ending and I'll be leaving tomorrow to move to HYBE."
"...wh- what? You're... you're leaving?" "Unfortunately. But don't worry Rei! I'll still be talking with you. You have my number right? Just call me or text me when you feel like it."
"Okay. But before you leave, can you do me a favor?" "Sure! What is it?" "Can you spend the rest of the day with me? I want to have fun on your last day." "Alright. Then, let's go to the arcade! Come on!" "Yeah!"
As the day was closing in, the events that unfolded naturally ended up being the driving force to keep them together even without them being able to see each other often.
