I lifted my top from my body, seeing the damp bandage on my skin, groaning at the sight. Amber came to the side of me, "It's alright, we'll sort it." I sat on the counter looking at my shoes, as I was in nothing but my jeans and a bra in front of my crush.

Amber looked through my bag grabbing more bandages and wipes, walking to stand in between my legs. She looked up at me, our faces were so close - my breath hitched. You could get lost in her deep eyes, they were so mesmerising, so mesmerising that I hadn't realised we had been staring at each other for at least a few minutes. She edged forward, moving her lips up towards mine, as did I, our lips slightly brushed each others. But before I could close the gap between them, my phone rang, "Fuck." Amber cleared her throat, "You gonna get that?" I looked at her, embarrassed, "Yeah, sorry."

As I answered the phone, she started taking off the old bandage and cautiously cleaning my wound. "Hello?" I voiced, waiting for an answer. "Is this Kaiden Jones?" The person replied, I frowned slightly, "Yes, who's this?" "This is Woodsboro Elementary, we can't get a hold of your parents, but we have Kole here," I sighed, "What's he done now?" The teacher quickly replied, "Oh nothing, but he's thrown up, so would you mind coming to collect him?" I mentally screamed - was this really why Amber and I's moment was ruined? "Sure, I'll be there soon," And I hung up, looking back to Amber.

"Who was that?" She questioned, "Just Kole's school - he threw up." She let out a quiet 'Oh', before sticking the new bandage on, "All done," She smiled towards me, I looked at her seeing her eyes trail down towards my chest, making me laugh. Her cheeks flushed red, moving back and putting the stuff in the bin.

I jumped down and put my top back on, turning back to see Amber already in front of me, "Let's go!" I said, taking her hand in mine, and walking back down the hall, outside.

When we opened the doors, Mindy was already there, "Tara's awake, you's coming?" "Yeah of course," Amber said, she gave me a questioning look to see if I was also coming, "I just have to pick up my brother, but I'll come after." Then Mindy spoke, "Okay, see you." I gave Amber a hug and walked towards my car.

Walking out of the building, I asked my brother, "Were you really sick?" He gave me a sheepish smile. "Oh my god, you little shit," I said laughing, "C'mon we have to go to the hospital." "Why?" Kole asked opening the car door, "Because Tara's there." Kole's whole face lighted up, fastening his seatbelt, "Let's go then!"

I sighed, my brother has the biggest crush on Tara and it's so weird, he's 9 years younger than her. But Tara thinks it's cute, that's Tara for you.

As Kole and I walked into the hospital room, my friends were gathered around Tara in her bed. "Tara, oh my gosh! Are you okay? Do you need anything? I'm so sorry I didn't come to yours last night," I rambled, leaning down to give her a massive hug, letting out a quiet 'I missed you'. Tara looked at me and just let out a laugh, "It's not your fault, I heard ghostface came to your house last night as well," She said smirking, I knew Liv had told her how she thought I liked what they did to me - which was partially true, I'm not a big fan of the mark they gave me.

I went to speak, but before I did, Kole pushed past me and gave Tara a hug too, "Hey T!" Tara smiled at my brother, "Hi, what are you doing out of school?" She questioned, as my brother sat on the hospital bed with my friend. Just before, Kole could tell her, the room door opened revealing Sam and an unknown guy.
