Cracked Mind And Broken Soul

chapter 1- the introduction

It's another day, like any other

Alex (main character) is getting ready for school at Hogwarts

She turns to look herself in the mirror and cries silently

She used to be so happy, glowing, full of life and worry free

Now she's pale as death, bones sticking out, depressed and doped up on all kinds of drvgs with cvts covering her arms, she slides her sleeves down covered the cvts and used her makeup to hide her sunken in eyes and pale skin,

How can a 17 year old be this fucked up, she checked her watch and saw she had ten minutes until breakfast ended, she never attends breakfast, or lunch, only dinner, afraid of gaining all the weight she lost

She slowly waddles into the bathroom and opens her drawer to take out her stuff

She uses her student ID to make a line and sniffs it, the euphoria hits and she takes out her needle and shoots it in her arm, feeling the room spin, she stumbled into her room on her bed and lies down, giggling slightly at the room dancing around, she shakily checks her watch and slowly pockets her stuff, then stumbled her way to her first class

She walks into the classroom and sees professor Lockhart trying to teach DADA while being a fool bragging about things and flipping his hair around, she watches as the girls swoon over him and she rolls her eyes

"Alex" Lockhart says, "take a seat, this lesson is about blocking unfriendly spells"

Alex rolls her eyes and sits down next to her best friend.

"Hi luna" Alex says
"Hey Alex, I see you didn't turn up to breakfast again"
"Mm" grunted Alex, not wanting to go into things

"Girls pay attention" Lockhart speaks

Luna and Alex look at each other, sharing a dissatisfied look rolling their eyes at Lockhart as he continues to brag

After around 20 minutes Alex asks to go to the toilet, when she arrives she shakily takes out a cigarette and smokes it, before locking herself in a cubicle and sitting down, as she smokes it, she takes out a needle and shoots it into her arm to stop the shaking, and smiles at the cold feeling in her arm and the tingling sensation of the drvg.

Alex then stumbled out and makes her way out to the classroom before seeing that the class had been dismissed, so she stumbled slowly into her next class

Alex had a double potion period, she likes that class, she loves potions and likes reading about them, the thing she hates is Hermione was assigned to sit next to her

She hates Hermione, she's a know-it-all brat, she has to get everything done fast and right.

As she stumbled into the classroom Snape growled at her for being only 2 minutes late, then received a detention, Alex rolled her eyes and sat down to begin the class
