part 4- odd feeling

Alex woke up, hear head pounding and stomach grumbling, her body shaking, begging for the euphoria from the high, she sat up barely able to see and took out her needle to stop her shaking and satisfy her body with the cold liquid happiness in the needle, after injection she lies down and sighs, wishing she was dead, before the memories of what happened rushed into her head making the headache worse, she starting sobbing and held her head in her hands wishing to forget, she wished she knew the spell that erases memories.

Before long she heard her friend luna wake up and saw her distress, she got up to comfort Alex, already aware of what had happened, luna looked at Alex's red eyes and extremely visible cheek bones, before reaching into her drawer to hand Alex a bottle.

It was vodka, Alex didn't question luna about where she got it or why, she just drank it, and sat in her arms for what felt like hours.

Alex looked at luna, glassy eyes and quivering chin, and spoke softly with her voice cracking, "I just wish I felt like I belonged somewhere, somewhere that made me happy and complete"

Luna looked at her with sympathy and just hugged her tightly before speaking

"You will find it, I know you will"

Alex had run off after the drugs fully kicked in, she ran into the forbidden forest and cries constantly, shaking from the cold, hardly able to see within the dark.

She kept crying as she knelt down near a tree and leaned up against it before lighting a cigarette, she closed her eyes as she inhaled the smoke, hoping for some sort of creature to smell it and kill her.

After around 20 minutes of sitting there quietly sobbing, she heard an unfamiliar voice speak

"Such a pity for such a pretty girl to be crying alone"

She looked up and felt everything freeze, she forgot how to breathe as her heart pounded against her ribs causing it to hurt a bit, it was fucking
