Nothing but the best.

Bill said he had a surprise for me today. It's been about a week or two since I found out Bill wanted to be more than friends. He said he'd pick me up at 7 and to wear something outdoorsy? I hope we're not hiking, since I hate hiking, but anything for him I guess. I wore a long sleeve red top along with some grey straight leg pants. I wore my black converse and brought a small bag to keep my phone and wallet in.

"I'm outside." My phone buzzed and the notification was obviously from Bill. I happily opened the front door to see Bill standing there. I was surprised since he had always just waited in his car for me but he decided to meet me at the door.

"Oh hi." I smiled.

"Hey. Let's go." He said as he reached his hand out for me.

"Wow what a gentleman you are." I joked as I took his hand in mine.

"Only when I want to be." He laughed as he opened the car door for me. I slid inside and watched him walk around to the driver seat. The sun was setting and it was the perfect time to be out. It wasn't too cold or too hot, and the sky looked beautiful. It was a nice pink/orange color that painted the city elegantly. We arrived at a small parking lot which looked like we had to do some hiking. I wasn't too upset since it was a small walk up a little hill.

"Come on." He said as we were almost at the top. Bill reached his hand for me to grab on to so I could pull myself up. I looked at the view which consisted of a wonderful sky and the Hollywood sign.

"Bill. This is amazing." I said as I took in the view. I didn't notice he was staring at me until I turned to look at him.

"What?" I smiled as he bit his lip nervously.

"Juliette, will you be my girlfriend?" My heart dropped at how much I wanted to hear those words. I took a deep breath before smiling widely.

"Yes!" I jumped in his arms as he held my tightly. My laughter was muffled into his shoulder as I was overwhelmingly happy with everything that had happened.

"You don't understand how long i've wanted to ask you that." He said as he held me by my waist, looking deeply into my eyes. I couldn't help but just smile at him, before pulling him into a sweet kiss. We sat on the edge of the cliff looking at the city together before it started getting a bit darker.

"You wanna grab some dinner?" He asked as he stood up, holding his hand out for mine.

"Sure. I'm a bit hungry anyways." I smiled as I took his hand gratefully. We walked back to his car and drove to a nearby Olive Garden. We talked and laughed as we shared some of our dinner together. The night was perfect. Bill and I were officially together, that view was amazing, and the food was delicious. Bill drove me back to my house and watched me exit his car.

"Bye Bill." I said before I gave him a big kiss.

"Bye Juliette." He smiled as he watched me walk up to my front door. I waved to him before I shut the door behind me, and began walking towards my room. I immediately dialed Lilith's number.

"Hey! What's up?" She said on the other line.

"Bill and I are dating." Lilith stayed silent for a couple of minutes before squealing into her phone.

"IM COMING OVER!" She yelled as she hung up her phone. I smiled as I set my phone down on my bedside table.
