Chuck woke up slowly, with a sense that something was wrong. He then realized what exactly was wrong. He woke up. He shouldn't be able to do that. He literally got shot in the stomach. Maybe I died, and I'm in the afterlife? Whatever the reason, he knew one thing: he was starving.

Gally, unlike everyone else, was awake the moment he hit the floor. He jumped to his feet, ready to fight. He assumed it was WICKED. He never really believed they had actually taken it down, even though he watched the WICKED headquarters burn to the ground. But if there was one he learned from WICKED, is to always watch your back.

Brenda took one look at the situation and thought Nope. Not doing this today. Well, that is until she turned over on her side and saw a tilted blonde who looked a lot like Newt. Like, a lot. Did Newt have an identical twin? But when he turned to face her, she realized that it's Newt. After the initial shock wore off, she noticed Thomas right next to Newt, looking like he lost all sense of thought. And when Thomas couldn't think (which was a lot), usually something bad happened. So Brenda decided to take a moment to compose herself and take in the situation, then go and be damage control for two love struck idiots.

Frypan was in the middle of cooking dinner (surprise, surprise) when he was teleported to a place he thinks was called a movie theater before The Flare. He wasn't the only one too, it seems. There were many other people in varied states of pain all around him, and he could hear scattered groans throughout the spacious room. He was wondering why this had happened, when it came to him. WICKED. The thought made him surge to his feet, adrenaline coursing through his veins. He needed to find his friends! They must be here somewhere! He needed- his thoughts stopped abruptly when he registered the grinning baby face staring at him. He knew who that was. And as he looked around wildly he saw the plethora of curls that belonged to Chuck, and the serious eyes that belonged to his friend Winston, and the- Oh dear was the last thing to cross his mind, right before he fainted.

Teresa, the moment she saw where she was, or more importantly, who she was with, promptly backed straight into a corner and began to panic. I mean, why wouldn't she? She literally betrayed every single person there. Well, she believed it to be for a good cause, but they didn't see it that way. And knowing that some of the boys here were a little impulsive *cough* Minho *cough* and trigger-happy *cough* Gally *cough* she gathered that it would probably be best if she waited to see what the hell was happening and prayed that she would drop dead. Again.

With everyone freaking out in every which way, it took Newt a while to realize the person near his feet.

"Alby?"

Alby grinned. "The one and only."

Newt scrambled to kneel down and be at eye level with Alby, nearly falling all the way over in the process. "You died," he said bluntly. "You left."

Alby ran a tired hand across his head. "Well, from what I've gathered, you did too."

Newt flinched involuntarily, then gave a small chuckle. With anyone else, that comment would have hurt, but that's just how he and Alby were. Tough love. He put his hand on Alby's shoulder and gripped it tightly.

"I guess we both failed, huh?"

Alby gave him a little smile. "Some glade leaders we are."

At that, Newt hung his head and sighed. When he looked back up, his eyes were swimming with tears.

"I missed you, man," his voice cracked a little.

"I would hope so! Come here," Alby reached up to ruffle Newt's hair, before pulling Newt to his chest and wrapping his arms tightly around him. Newt returned the embrace, sniffing slightly. When they pulled away, Alby raised an eyebrow at Newt.

"So, what's going on with Thomas, huh?"

Newt hit him on the arm and hissed "shut up!" Before glancing at Thomas, who was currently embracing Chuck like he was his little brother.

Alby laughed. "No, seriously though! You guys obviously like each other."

Newt looked slightly uncomfortable. "There's no way Thomas likes me. I don't even know if he swings that way."

"Bro, I saw him when he looked at you. He looked like life had meaning again."

"That's only because I died and he was surprised to see me."

Alby scoffed. "Oh, please, if that's what you think, then-"

"Slim it, Alby!" Newt interrupted with a scowl.

"I'm just saying-"

Newt got up abruptly. "I'm going to go say hello to everyone." He walked away to Gally, who immediately bombarded him with questions on how he was alive and where they were.

Alby raised his hands in defense, then climbed to his feet to stand next to Minho, who was squinting suspiciously into a corner. He didn't pull his attention away from said corner, even when he started talking.

"I bet you twenty dollars that Thomas and Newt will confess their feelings for eachother by the time we get out of here."

Alby sighed. "Minho," he said, " we're broke."

Minho finally tore his gaze from his beloved corner, realization lighting up his face.

"Oh yeah!"

Alby snorted. "Besides, I think that they're both way too oblivious. Like, did you hear my conversation with Newt? He was acting like Thomas didn't totally throw himself at Newt when he saw him alive."

"Don't even get me started!" Minho groaned. "Those have been skirting around each other for forever. And I don't know what happened in those six months when WICKED had me, but I'm sure that the others had to put up with a lot of tension and suppressed emotion."

Alby frowned. "WICKED had you for six months?"

Minho realized his mistake and scrambled to fix it. "I mean- I just- I'm going to say hi to Brenda!" He promptly speed walked his way over to a slightly confused Brenda.

Alby's frown lingered, thinking about what Minho had said. He was taken by WICKED? What did they do to him?

His thoughts were interrupted when something flickered in Minho's corner, the one he refused to take his eyes off.

What the hell? He thought, stepping closer and squinting. It had almost looked like there were eyes, staring right back at him and into his soul. Just as he was going to go over to take a further look, scattered shouts of surprise and astonishment filled the air.

He whipped his head around to find out what was going on, but when he did, something caught his eye. Then he realized what everyone was shouting about.

There were words on the movie screen. And as Alby read, a feeling of dread settled in his stomach.

Hello, Gladers. Please take a seat.

Hi! I just want to say, thank you for reading, and I'm sorry if something doesn't make sense, or if someone's OOC. I know I'm not the best writer, and this is really just for fun. That also means it's unedited, so if there's a spelling or grammar mistake please just ignore it. Also, I know the block section at the start is weird. Just go with it lol. I hope you all have a great day :D
