The group gathered around the dining table, engrossed in a lively game of Uno. Moo was on the verge of victory, his cards strategically aligned, when Marcel suddenly slammed down a powerful plus four card. "Boom, Motherfucker!" he exclaimed, relishing the moment.

Moo's frustration boiled over, and he struck the table with a clenched fist. "God damn it!" Losing was something he despised. Meanwhile, Brian patiently bided his time, waiting for the opportune moment to strike back. With a sly smile, he played a reverse card, turning the game back to Marcel. The tables had turned.

Displaying a mischievous grin, Marcel unleashed another devastating plus four card on Moo. The overwhelming defeat caused Moo to explode in anger, abruptly standing up and storming off from the table. His departure left Brian and Marcel as the sole contenders in the game, with Nogla assuming the role of judge, overseeing the proceedings due to his extensive knowledge of Uno.

Marcel, sensing victory was within his grasp, taunted Brian by declaring, "It's game over for you, Brian." He playfully mocked his opponent, confident that he had the upper hand. Time seemed to slow down as Brian, with an air of determination, orchestrated a masterful move that completely caught Marcel off guard. In a surprising turn of events, Brian emerged as the triumphant winner of the Uno game.

"And that's how it's done!" Brian exclaimed, revelling in his victory. He reached for a beer and strolled away, a triumphant smile adorning his face as he claimed the spoils of his hard-fought victory.

As the sun began to rise 'Vanoss' sat in his office, penning a letter with meticulous care. After signing his name, he took a moment to savour a sip of his brandy. Just then, a sliver of light pierced the room as the door swung open.

"Took you long enough," 'Vanoss' remarked, his voice laced with a hint of impatience, as an unfamiliar figure entered and took a seat.

Leaning forward, the unknown figure inquired, "Is it done?"

"The individuals you requested are now within the confines of this building," 'Vanoss' replied, calmly taking another sip of his brandy.

The unknown figure rose from his seat, a glimmer of satisfaction in his eyes. "You have done an exceptional job," he praised.

"Now, let's talk about the payment," 'Vanoss' interjected, his voice expectant.

Without hesitation, the unknown figure retrieved a silenced pistol from his jacket, firing two shots into 'Vanoss's' head and chest. Swiftly, he holstered the weapon and silently exited the office, leaving no trace of the sinister act that had just transpired.

Several hours later, the group of friends gathered in the parlour room, eagerly anticipating the day's planned activities. Nogla happily indulged in a glass of milk accompanied by cookies, while Delirious curiously polished his shoes for a peculiar reason.

Marcel, still seething over his loss in Uno, remained glued to his phone, mindlessly scrolling through TikTok. Moo aimlessly flicked through TV channels, desperately searching for something to alleviate his boredom. Just then, Brian entered the room, wearing a concerned expression on his face.

"Where's Evan?" he questioned, noting that it was already afternoon.

No one could provide a definitive answer, each of them simply shrugging in response. Brian decided to make his way towards Vanoss's office, determined to find his missing friend. He banged on the door, calling out, "Hey! Evan!" The door creaked open, and a distinct smell of gunpowder hit Brian like a wave, instantly raising his alertness.

Brian proceeded with caution, his handgun at the ready. He flicked on the light, illuminating the dimly lit office. His heart sank as he saw 'Vanoss' slumped lifelessly in his office chair, a bullet wound in his head and chest. "Evan..." Brian muttered, his voice filled with disbelief.

Despite the grim sight, Brian knew he had to remain composed. He approached cautiously and checked Vanoss' neck for a pulse. There was nothing. The reality of the situation hit him hard, his friend was gone.

"What's going on?" Nogla's voice broke the silence, startling Brian. He swiftly turned, his handgun still in hand, ready to defend himself. "Put the fucking thing away, you fucking idiot!" Nogla shouted, his anger evident.

Realizing it was Nogla, Brian holstered his pistol. "Next time, don't sneak up on me," he retorted, his voice tense with a mix of relief and irritation.

Brian knew he had to secure the crime scene. He quickly set up tape, sealing off the office from everyone but himself. With a deep breath, he began the investigation. He carefully studied the room, searching for any evidence of a struggle. The table caught his attention, and he examined the knocked-over brandy glass, hoping it would provide some clues to what had transpired.

As Brian surveyed the scene, a thought crossed his mind: "He knew whoever killed him." Determined to find answers, he turned his attention to the other seat in the room. Carefully, he examined it for any signs that someone had occupied it recently.

His instincts proved correct. "Interesting," Brian muttered to himself as he discovered subtle indications of recent use. There were slight imprints on the cushion and a faint lingering warmth. Someone had been sitting there not long ago.

Approaching the desk, Brian slowly removes his mask, only to discover that the person sitting there was not Vanoss at all. Instead, it was an entirely different individual, lifeless and motionless. The sight sends shivers down Brian's spine, leaving him thoroughly unnerved. Feeling a sense of urgency, he quickly retrieves his notepad and pen, jotting down a few key observations while his mind races to devise a plan.

Brian runs his hand across his face, trying to calm his racing thoughts. He realizes that he must gather all the potential suspects in order to unravel this perplexing mystery. As he contemplates his next moves, he can't help but acknowledge that the situation has taken a much more sinister turn than he and the rest of "The Crew" had anticipated.
