Brian pressed the play button on his recorder, signalling the start of the interview with his first suspect, Brock, who was also known as "Moo Snuckel." As Brock's nervousness and sweat became apparent, Brian made a mental note of it, considering it as he began questioning.

"Let the record show your name," Brian stated, his gaze fixed on Brock.

"Brock Barrus," Moo replied, attempting to maintain his composure.

Looking up from his notepad, Brian proceeded with the interrogation. "Where were you this morning?"

"I was asleep," Brock responded promptly.

Curious, Brian continued, ready to jot down the details. "What have you been doing since YouTube ended?"

Moo scratched his neck, visibly uncomfortable. "I've been a stay-at-home dad. My wife works, and I take care of things at home."

"There's nothing wrong with that," Brian reassured him, making a note of the response. "But yesterday, you made a statement: 'this can't be happening.' It implies that you might know something."

Moo found himself perspiring profusely as he expressed his discomfort, stating, "All I can say is that this isn't my usual way of handling things."

Brian let out a deep sigh, realizing his previous approach wasn't getting through. He decided to change tactics and asked, "Can you recall the last time you had a face-to-face encounter with Evan?"

"It's been approximately a year," Moo responded, recollecting the moment they reconnected at a hockey game he attended with his daughter. "We started exchanging text messages after that, but it abruptly came to a halt about a month or two ago."

Brian inquired, "Did you have a conversation with him on the first night you arrived here?"

Moo shook his head disappointedly. "I did, actually. I attempted to break the ice with a few classic puns, but he barely reacted. He simply ignored me and carried on with his showboating."

"Alright, you're free to go," Brian said, concluding his note-taking.

Once Moo departed, Brian delved deeper into the photographs he had taken at the crime scene. He couldn't help but ponder the significance of the outfit Axel had chosen to wear and whether it held any clues to the case at hand.

Next up was Marcel, better known as "Basicallyidowrk." Brian reached for the recorder and said, "State your name for the record."

Marcel, twirling his thumbs, questioned, "Do I need to?"

Brian slapped his own face in annoyance. "No, I just asked that question to be a dick. Yes, answer the fucking question," he replied, holding open his notepad.

"Marcel Cunningham," he introduced himself.

"Where were you this morning?" Brian asked, attempting to narrow things down.

Marcel pondered for a moment. "I was asleep. I was caught up with TikTok."

"Did you notice anything strange last night?" Brian inquired.

Marcel scratched his head. "Nope, I was on the phone all night with TikTok."

Brian slapped his own face once again. "Fine, when was the last time you spoke to or interacted with Evan?"

"I don't know, we stopped talking long before YouTube shut down," Marcel exclaimed, clenching his other fist.

Noting Marcel's anger, Brian suggested, "You're clearly upset. Do you want to let it out while you have the chance?"

"Fine, I was pissed. After years of playing together, I was suddenly dropped from the content," Marcel complained.

"So, it's safe to say you harboured resentment towards him," Brian summarized.
