Chapter 2

Nick's POV:

I stood there shocked as she walked away. How could she do something like that to me, did she really not know who I am, was she really not attracted to the hottest guy in town? Seconds pass and I hear a familiar , annoying voice coming closer to me. It's my 'girlfriend' Veronica, god I don't like her, but I have to date her, I have to do it for my family. Veronica's family is close to mine in business, and my dad said I have to date her or else we will live on the streets.

"Hi babe" she said in her annoying loud voice to make sure everyone around us could hear while she wraps her hand around mine

"Hi Veronica" I say clearly annoyed and pissed

"What's the matter with you babe, is something wrong?" She says

"No, I'm fine. And what did I tell you about calling me nicknames, I have a name for a reason" I say the last part a bit rudely 

"What am I not allowed to give my boyfriend a cute nickname" she says teasingly while still being slightly rude

"No, you know the reason why I'm dating you, I don't actually feel anything for you" I say firmly 

"Are you sure? Because I think after tonight you'll feel a lot for me. Why don't you come over tonight, my parents are out of town." She asks but it's not really a question 

"No, I can't tonight. I have football tryouts after school, I'll be tired after" I say " now I have to go to class, the bell is about to ring" I say before walking away to class leaving her there

"But I-" I hear her say but I don't care and continue to walk away

I reach my class right as soon as the bell rings, as soon as I enter I spot that girl for earlier today, the one who embarrassed me in front of everyone, and she's talking and laughing with my best friend. 

I walk up to my best friend without looking at her "Vince, what are you doing talking to her"

"What, am I not allowed to talk to her, am I not allowed to make friends" he says "calm down dude, we were just talking, I'm not trying to steal her from you" he adds giggling 

I look at her as she's about to speak "Oh it looks like someone's jelly that I'm getting along with there best friend more than them" she says giggling as well

"Shut up, I wasn't talking to you" I say angrily as I turn back to Vince "you can be friends with who ever you want, just not her, not after what she did"

"Look man, just because she did something to you doesn't mean I can't be friends with her"  says Vince, and stare him dead in his eyes, looking into his soul "dude we are literally just talking" he says. "Ya, and the next thing you know you invite her to our table, and every guy falls in love with her, and she steals everyone and everything" I say arguing " actually I was just to ask her about that" he says turning to her " would you like to sit with us at lunch? Cause there seems to be a lot for me to know about you." He says to her

"I will politely decline your offer, sorry" she says to him "I don't like being near this person" she adds pointing at me. Before I could say something the teacher walked into class and I sat down beside Vince whispering to him "This conversation isn't over." "Sure it isn't" he whispers back

The bell finally rings. It's time for lunch, I can't wait to what's about to happen. I watch as the girl stands up from her seat and says to Vince "I'll see you around the cafeteria I guess" as she takes her stuff and walks out. 

Me and Vince walk to the cafeteria but we don't say a word to each other. As we enter I see Veronica walking up to her usual table with her stupid minions. Then I see who's sitting on their table, it's the girl. "Omg, this is going to be good" I say without realising I said it out loud but I knew I did because Vince looked at me and back on them

"Get off our table slut" I hear Veronica say "why should I" I hear the girl say in response 

"Because it's our table, everyone know that it's best for them if they don't sit here" Veronica says " I don't see your name on the table" the girl says "and I would rather eat on the floor then sit here knowing you sat here" she adds

"Fine then, sit on the floor, I wanna see you try" Veronica says not thinking she would actually do it. 

"Fine" says the girl as she picks up her tray of food and walks over to the corner, sits down and starts to eat

"This woman is really something" I whisper to no one "she really is" Vince whispers also to no one. She really made a big appearance on her first day. I walk with Vince to our table with the guy in shock from the situation like us.

"Nick, Isn't that the girl from this morning." Says one of the guys, and I nod in response still kinda shocked but confused. Then moments later, I watch as Vince gets up and walk up to the girl

Alexandra's POV:

I see Vince walk up to me and say "get up princess, you're sitting on our table" he's smiling "I already told you, I don't want to sit there. I would rather sit here on the cold floor" I say as i shove a piece of bread in my mouth. "I'm sure you would rather sit on a table full of hot guys, well me in general, but yeah I think you would rather sit with us then on the floor, princess, you could get sick" he says and I giggle "it's really fine" I say but he just wouldn't give up, he took my hand and dragged me to there table.

"I hate you" I mutter to him. "I know you don't, princess" he mutters back and giggles. He gestures me to sit next to him, and I do. I'm sitting right in front  of Nickolas. He stares at me with those eyes of his, I try to focus on my food and avoid conversation but I could feel his gaze on me, and it disturbed me so I say looking up at him "do you have a staring problem?" He suddenly looks like he snapped back to reality and he says to me "did you lose your fear somewhere?" I look confused at him "huh?" I say and he replies with "I mean really first you talk to me like that, and then Veronica? I think you don't know anything around here, Veronica is the most brutal girl in this school, she should rip your head right off" I look down at my food and start eating like what he's saying doesn't matter, but I still speak back "she can't if I rip off her head first" I say totally not bugged by it, he looks at me stunned, everyone on the table looks at me stunned.
