~7~I Love Him~

"Noona..." Ni-ki knocked on my open door.

"Dinners ready, can you come down please?" He asked softly.

"Coming..." As much as I didn't want to talk to them, I had to eat.

I walked down behind Ni-ki refusing to speak to him.

Everyone ate in silence and I was about to leave when Hara stopped me.

"Iseul let's talk please." She begged.

"I don't have anything to say to you or anyone." I angrily turned my head away.

"Why do you like him so much?" She furrowed her eyebrows standing up.

"You wouldn't understand." I rolled my eyes.

"Iseul, he could ruin all of us, your job was just to gain his trust and pretend to be friends with him, not actually befriend him." Hara tried reasoning with me.

I felt angry tears drip down my cheeks.

"Well maybe because I don't want to be friends with him." I slowly increased my voice. "Maybe it's because I love him!" I banged the table.

"Iseul!" Hara looked me dead in the eyes angrily.

"Hara I love him." I burst into tears.

"Love?" She scoffed. "You're joking?'

"No I love him!" I yelled back.

For a moment she stood there shocked.

"This is why you're weak and emotional." Hara crossed her arms.

Weak? Emotional? I was in disbelief. "How could she say that to me?"

"Then why didn't you do this yourself!? Why drag me into your mess!?"

"Iseul... Vampires don't love each other. We don't have excessive emotions." Hara began lecturing me.

"Don't love each other? So mom and dad didn't love each other? They sacrificed themselves for each other because they didn't love each other?'
I was fuming.

All the boys listened to our argument in shock feeling speechless.

"How dare you bring up our parents?" Hara looked equally annoyed. "And it's not called love, it's called attraction. Love is weak, love is for humans, love is for someone like Sunghoon!"

"Well maybe I want to be like Sunghoon!" I yelled back making everyone's eyes widen even more.
