~11~ Happily Ever After~

Sunghoon and I stared down at the 2 piles of dirt with tears.

The tombstones read. 

'Lee So-ah 2000-2023'

'Shin Hara 1992-2023'

Sunghoon hugged me as I hugged him back.

I promised him I'd be his best friend forever and I was going to keep that promise.

A 1 year passed and the boys had all mended their relationships and even apologised to me.

I still couldn't get over Hara. She had raised me since I was 6 and I had killed her with my own hands.

I sat down on the short rock railing on a small peaceful bridge next the the house.

The soft breeze played with my hair as I was lost in my thoughts.

"Hey." I heard a voice approach as I snapped out of my thoughts.

"Hey Jay." I gave a smile as he sat beside me.

"It's almost sunrise we should get inside." Jay said as I watched a tint of light ahead across the water.

"The sun doesn't affect me anymore." I sighed.

"Yeah just wait until it starts melting your skin off." Jay chuckled making me laugh a little too.

"You know I have to apologise again for being quite a Jerk." He glanced at me.

"Yeah you were." I smiled. "It's ok." 

"I know you still like Sunghoon, you should ask him again." Jay encouraged me.

I shook my head. "Only So-ah deserves him." 

Jay gave a confused look.

"Of course I can't hide my feelings but that doesn't change how much he still cares for me and we're still best friends either way. I guess I'm just going to be alone." I sighed.

"I'm sure you'll find someone." Jay was positive.

"What happened to Mr. Love is weak?" I teased.

He chuckled feeling embarrassed. "I was very wrong." He admitted.

I nodded smiling.

I stood up.

"Shall we go in?" I asked.

"I don't know I kinda like it here." Jay gazed at the clear waters and distant sunrise.

"Alright." I chuckled.

Before I passed him.

I walked up to him and he lifted his head a little looking into my eyes.

Without a word I gently gave him a peck on his lips. "Don't take it personally." I teased. He looked quite shocked.

I was about to walk off when he grabbed my wrist pulling me back down next to him.

He leaned in kissing me.

I happily kissed him back.
