They've been on the road for weeks. Traveling too far just to make sure that Miguel can't find them. Finding a new place they can call 'home'. Where they can settle down. Marry. Have kids. Grow old together.
On her seat, Yvanna imagined the life she wanted. Living in a house they can finally call a home. With 3or 4 extra rooms for their future children. Ireland, Paris and Venice will be the name for girls. Nathan and Alden for boys.
"There's something I have to tell you" Arnix said, breaking the silence.
When he said those words, Yvanna felt her plans to their life became just an imagination. She looked at him, worried that everything happened between them along the road were just dreams. Good dreams
"Fire, wind, light, earth, ice or water" Arnix started, "Each have rings. And I don't think Miguel would like only yours."
Miguel. He hunts her every time she closes her eyes. Every time she sees fire. Unlike Miguel, she never wants to produce fire with a snap of her hands. Fire scare her to death. So when Miguel gave her three days to surrender the ring, Arnix finds a way to use the ring without fire's physical appearance.
"We can find them all and save the world from Miguel" Arnix said.
"But I don't want to be a hero, Arnix." She hissed, "I want to be a wife, your wife. I wanted to be a mother like anyone else too."
"I know."
"Don't you want that?"
"That's what I really want."
"I want to find life, not the rings. I wanted to save us, not the world" Yva quite raise her voice. But all that she said was true. All she needed was him. Not the rings. Not the power.
"Okay then, let's start over and save us" Arnix said and Yvanna smiled like a little girl who found fire in the middle of a snow storm.
