The group had finally got out of the train station, and were on their way to a hidden supply depot that maggie and georgie had set up before in case they ran into trouble whilst they were on the road looking for survivors. getting out of the station wasn't easy, though. they had lost gage, and watched him get ripped apart by walkers through a window. estella couldn't get that image out of her head, and kasper hadn't said a word since it happened. not one. estella was worried about him, but maggie said that it was something called being 'non verbal' when he got too stressed out. estella understood, and didn't push him to speak until he was all right and ready to speak to her. maggie kept a close eye on him.

everyone came to a sudden halt on their walk up the road, making estella huff before the looked up. she was tired. she just wanted to get the food and get back. she didn't want to keep stopping and starting like it was nobody's business. however, when she actually looked up and saw why they stopped, she gasped loudly, throwing herself back slightly into kasper, making him quickly catch her. again, he put his hand on her hip, like he always did when he was stressed. she left it there, too, because it helped her just as much as it helped him. it's like he was reminding her that he was there.

people were hung upside down in the trees leading up the road, rope attached to their legs. they had gone purple, meaning they were clearly alive when they went down and the blood had rushed to their heads and killed them. it was scary. estella had seen a lot of things in life, but it would never get easier seeing bodies killed in brutal ways. ever. in fact, estella was pretty sure that it got worse with time, because as time went on, it was proof that alexandria really was a fantasy land, because outside of their walls, things were still the same as they were years ago when they were on the road with the old group, like with rick, and glenn, and abraham. it was still all bad.

"well, this place sure has gone to shit since last time i was here." negan said, taking a deep breath as he looked at all of them. "let's double back, we can clear through—"

before negan could even finish his sentence, an arrow went straight through roy's eye, knocking him down to the floor. estella screamed, and kasper's hands flew over his ears as he began to breathe loudly. estella quickly held up her crossbow, ready to fire at whoever was there. cole got stabbed in the leg, and daryl quickly grabbed estella and kasper by each of their arms to urge them to run as people came out. estella didn't know who they hell they were, but she knew she didn't have time to stand around. she ran with maggie, daryl, and jasper, behind a tree.

when they were behind it, estella poked her head out to see what was going on as they dragged cole away. she wanted to help him, but considering the large amount of people coming down the path with masks on their faces and weapons in their hands, estella had no choice but to stay behind the tree. her hands were shaking, and so were her knees. maggie was trying to console kasper, and daryl was stood looking out of the tree, just like estella was. she was trying to think of what they could do, but her brain was blank. she usually had ideas when it came to this stuff, but she had nothing.

before estella could even process what was going on, she was running. everyone was running. she was firing her crossbow, and people were fighting. she was hitting people, she didn't know why, she didn't know how. it's like it was all a blur, and then, it was day time, and she woke up in a place that she didn't recognise. the lights weren't on, but it didn't matter, because the daylight was coming through the large windows. she sat up in a panic, noticing that she was in some kind of pharmacy. she had no idea how she got there, until she saw kasper sat at the side of her, his knees pulled up to his chest as he played with a bandaid.
