I am a new writer and love to see my comments, so if you'd comment or react it would make me so happy! (THIS IS INSPIRED BY THE ORIGINAL "Hollyleaf's Kits"! The original person who made the story discontinued it, so I am making another. I am also working on another story titled "Graystripe's Tainted Revenge." Enjoy this for now!

-Hollyleaf's POV-

Hollyleaf twitched her whiskers as she arched her back, stretching. Fallen Leaves flank rose and fell gently as she got to her paws. She padded to the quietly flowing stream and watched for fish, making sure her shadow did not fall over the river. As she hooked a fish with a single claw, she felt Fallen Leaves gaze fall on her pelt. "What?" She tore a few scales off the fish, gagging. "You've been eating well!" Fallen Leaves mewed jokingly. Hollyleaf noticed her stomach was scarcely off the floor. "It's a good thing!" She grumbled defensively. Fallen Leaves shrugged and tucked his paws under his chest as she plopped down beside him. "Do you get lonely?" Hollyleaf meowed, her gaze rising to a place where sunlight trickled in. "I was. Before you came. With you here, it's much less lonely."
Fallen Leaves opened his jaws as if he was going to say something, but he closed them. "What? I would rather you just say what you mean." Hollyleaf flicked her tail impatiently. "Nothing," Fallen Leaves avoided her questioning eyes. "I'll get us so-" He broke off as a loud, caterwauling yowl above ground sounded. "Wait here." Fallen Leaves bounded towards the sunlight, his pelt becoming less and less visible with the strengthening light. She stood up straight, gazing at the flowing river. It reflected the half moon in the water. Her brother would be traveling to the Moonpool. If he hasn't been driven out yet. Surely Firestar couldn't be that cruel? Hollyleaf thought. It was short-lived. Another loud yowl. Then silence. An accusing hiss. A yelp and snarl. Silence, then a pound. She broke into a run as the tunnel laying behind her started crumbling. She looked back at the tall rock where she and Fallen Leaves sunbathed, and where she caught her first fish. Where her, Lionpaw, Jaypaw, Heatherpaw, and We Breezepaw barely escaped from the flooding tunnels as apprentices with the WindClan kits. She turned tail and continued her sprint out into the open forest.
