Maleeha woke up to arms wrapped around her waist, she turned to see that they belonged to Jasper.
He was actually sleeping, he looked beautiful Maleeha thought. She wondered what he was dreaming about. She started at him a little before she got up to get dressed.
Walking back into her room seeing that Jasper had left, she felt a little sad. After Maleeha was dressed, she went into the kitchen to the fridge. "Good morning teenwolf." Damon says walking into the room.
"Yea good- oh my god! Why are you naked?" Maleeha covers her face. "Because I look amazing in my natural state Maleeha." Damon mocked. Damon leaves out the kitchen and comes back with pants on. Maleeha peeks through her fingers. "So
, where's your pale friend who looks like he needs to shit?" Maleeha hits Damon in the back of his head. "Screw you ok, he's different."
Maleeha grabs her stuff to make her daily morning drink. "Differnt how Leeha?" Damon leaned in. "He's a vampire and so is his family." She tells him. "What do you mean that he's a vampire? Vampires don't look like that Maleeha, you should know that." Damon said. "No Jasper's different, he is what the wolves call Cold Ones."
Damon gives her a look not believing her. "Mmm, never heard of them, and you know why because there is no such thing as a different species of Vampire." Maleeha puts her arms on the dining table. "You the same thing about werewolves, but looky looky." Maleeha points to herself grinning. Damon clicks his tongue. "Ok so let's say there is such a thing, why is he so pale?"
"He's dead Damon, duh." The vampire hits his head. "OK, so what about the eyes? Beady golden eyes." Maleeha gives him a look. "The way he feeds determines the color. Gold means animal blood, and red means human blood."
"Another Bambi lover huh."
"Yea, Jasper, and human blood isn't something good they tell me." They, referring to his family. Hearing that made a lightbulb go off in Damon; 's head. "I wanna meet this little band of Cold Ones."
"Ok, but don't do anything." Maleeha demand. "Yea yea ok." Damon waved her off. "Im serious Damon if you do anything, ill put my foot up yo ass, see you later." Maleeha walks out of the house and gets in the car to go to school.

"So how was it?"
After Jasper woke up, he left to tell the family about his experience. "It was amazing." That was all Jasper could express how it was to sleep, to actually sleep in years. There aren't many words to express. "Well did you at least dream?" Rosalie asks her brother, she is intrigued. That was one of the many things Rosalie missed when she was human.
"No, I didn't, she just told me to sleep, so I slept." He replied. Esme put her hand on his shoulder. "That's exciting Jasper."
"Yea, im happy for you." Alice jumps happily. Carlisle claps his hands. "Well guys you should get going, don't want to be late." Jasper walks out of the house along with his siblings, getting in the car with Alice.
His thoughts were all over the place with what happened last night. Jasper was surprised that Maleeha could do something like that, he didn't know that her kind could do that. He wonders if it's a hybrid thing, or a vampire, or a werewolf thing. He doesn't know.
When driving into the school parking lot, Jasper sees Maleeha standing next to her car talking to Chyna.
She's perfect.
He gets out of the car and walks over to the two, Chyna notices him.
"Ooo girl, why is country boy walking his ass over here? I thought you said you don't talk to him." Chyna says looking over her friend's shoulder.
"I forgot to tell you that we hung out yesterday." Chyna slowly turns her head to Maleeha. "Yall hung out?" Maleeha nodded her head, she didn't even feel Jasper behind her. "Hello ladies, Chyna can I borrow her for a minute?" Jasper says. Chyna grins. "Oh she's all yours, I was just going to go to class early. Maleeha we gone talk in 3rd." Chyna points at her walking away.
Maleeha turns to face Jasper smiling. "Hey, I didn't even hear you leave this morning." Jasper looks into her eyes. "What is it? The thing you did to me?" He asks her. "It's called compulsion, something only vampires can do."
"So how does it work if you don't mind me asking?"
"Uh well, it's mind control basically. We can use on just about anyone for any type of use." The hybrid tells him. "What type of use do you mean?" Jasper already knowing the answer. "Well we can erase people's memories, make them do things out of their power, like for example if were to walk over to Emmentt and compel him to attack one of these kids, he'll do it, and I'll make him forget that he did it." Maleeha explains.
The Cullens are listening in on the convo and they are starting to worry. "Do you think she used her powers on a local around here?" Rosalie asks. "I don't think Maleeha would do something like that." Alice defends her. "Come, Alice, we barely know her and she's a different species." Rosalie barks back.
"And from what we're hearing, it seems like her kind is a little bit more dangerous than ours." Edward was hearing Jasper's thoughts and he could see he was thinking the same thing the family was.
"Have you ever compelled anyone so you can feed off of them?" Jasper asks her hoping she never did. "At first I did when I turned into a hybrid. Damon's brother, tried to help me, getting me on the bunny diet." Maleeha tells him.
"Bunny diet?" Jasper chuckle. She nods her head laughing. "Yea, it's something Damon says to his brother. But the animal blood wasn't for me so I learned how to control my thirst when it comes to human blood."
"So if someone was hurt, you'll be ok?" Jasper question. "Yep, it doesn't affect me that much." Maleeha smiles at him. They were staring into each other eyes, getting lost in them. "Uh, so how'd you sleep last night?"
They were walking in the crowd into the hallway to class. "Amazing, it's been years and I have missed it." He stops to face her. "Thank you Maleeha for that." He thanks her making her smile widely.
"It's no problem Jas. Hey um Damon said that he wants you and your family if that's no problem." Maleeha plays with her thumbs looking at her pale friend. "I'll talk to them but it should be darlin'." He grabbed her hands feeling that she was a little nervous.
"Ok good and I promise he'll be on his best behavior, I gotta go to class and see later." Maleeha hugs him before she runs off. Jasper was left in the hallway stuck. "Why didn't you hug her back?" Emmett says walking beside him. Jasper looks over to him before rolling his eyes. "Shut up."
