Thunder shoots through the air and rain is pouring down outside. Maria looks out her window before going to her wardrobe to get clothes. After she gets dress she puts in her big chunky white boots and goes look at herself in the mirror.

She smiles at herself in the mirror when she's happy with her look. She grabs her white raincoat if the back of her door before putting it on and walking downstairs.
Maria walks outsides after Bella. Charlie just parks Bella's truck when Maria slips and falls. She cry's out in pain as Bella laughs at her.
Charlie send Bella a disapproving look while he rushes over to help Maria. "You alright?" Charlie asks her worriedly while helping her up. Maria gives him a smile, face full of embarrassment.
"Yeah I'm okay daddy. Just slipped in the ice." Maria says hoping it stops her farther from worrying she broke something. She then says "Ice doesn't really help the uncoordinated." Which makes him huff out a laugh "Yeah. That's why I had some new tyres put on the truck. Old ones were getting pretty bald."
Maria smiles at him "Thanks daddy." He gives her a smile then when he turns to Bella he becomes awkward. After a couple seconds of silence he speak "Well, probably be late for dinner. I gotta head down to Mason Country."
He starts to head over to his police car before continuing "Security guard at the Grisham Mill got killed by some kind of animal." Maria's interest peaks at that while Bella gets into the car while eavesdropping.
"An animal?" Maria asks him confusion and interest on her face. Charlie opens the car door "You're not in Phoenix anymore, Pumpkin. Anyway, I figured I'd lend a hand."
Maria walks over to him and kisses him on the cheek "Be careful." She has a worried look on her face. Charlie kisses her on the head before saying "Always am." He gives her a soft smile before getting in his car and driving of.
Maria waves at him leaving Charlie waving back. When he's gone Bella shouts from the car "Will you fucking hurry up you bitch." She flinches at Bella's tone before quickly going round the car and getting in the truck.
She puts in her headphone and hope that today is a good day.

The rain pours down harder as Maria rushes up the steps her umbrella over her. The thunder cackles and it makes Maria smile. She always loved the thunder and rain.
She is walking with Eric to biology and is listening intently. As they get to the class nick comes and pulls her raincoat hood over her head making some water get in her face. "How you liking the rain girl." Maria gives him an awkward smile before she takes the coat of and hangs it up then uses her sleeves to wipe the water of her face.
She turns back to nick and smiles at him. Nick gives her a big smile back before starting confidently "Hey, do you have a date to-" before he can finish his sentence Bella budges them causing Maria to fall.
