Maria groans and puts her hand over her eyes. The light above her too bright. She sits up quickly when she realises she's lying down on a bed.

When she looks around she realises she's in a hospital room. "Your okay." A voice says causing her to look over quickly to the place the it came from. A really handsome man is standing next to the bed she's on.

She opens her mouth to speak but her throat is dry. He picks up a cup of water from the desk next to the bed and helps her drink it.

"I'm Carlisle Cullen. Your doctor." He said while taking the cup away from her when she was finished. Her eyes lock on his and that's when she realises it's the same amber colour she loves.

Carlisle looks at her with adoration. He thought Emmett, Edward and jasper were joking when they said they mate was here. He believes them now.

A shiver ran through him when he touched her cheek to help her drink. He saw one go through her too. Her body must of felt it but the adrenaline must of over powered it.

"Your dad should be here soon." He says then slowly starts to back towards the door. "I'll come check on you then. Relax your safe." He gives her a charming smile before he left.

Maria looks at where he stood wondering why she felt like she belonged in his arms. Her eyebrows scrunch when she realises it was the same when she touched Emmett in P.E.

When she brushed jaspers hand in history. When her shoulder hit Edward in biology.

At the mention of there names her eyes widened in realisation. She should be dead or badly injured. How did the save her? How did they get to her so fast? They were in the other side of the parking lot.

Her brain was doing laps in her head. Her eyes widen when she realises Edward a eyes where black when they first met. There always cold to the touch. Everything goes rushing back to her head. Every detail.

A look if determination fills her face. She's determined to find out how they got to her so fast. Determined to find out what they really are.

Carlisle walks out the room with a dreamy smile on his face. He slows down his pace and stops when he sees the 3 boys he shares his mate with.

He stops in front of them and says "You weren't lying." They give him big smiles "She's wonderful isn't she." Emmett says his face turning soft as it shows he's thinking about her. Before Carlisle can agree Edward speaks up "Is she alright?"

That makes Carlisle go professional "I couldn't do a proper check. She awake now so when her dad gets here I'll do it then." The boys breathe out a breath of relief "She's awake?" Jasper says. Carlisle nodded.

Before they could continue to talk about there mate Rosalie walks up to them. "She's gonna want to know how you got to her so fast. You need to tell her soon." They look at her and nod. "We know we do." Jasper says.

Emmett looks at the look she has on her face "What?" That catches the attention of the others who look at him then Rosalie. Her eyes cast down before looking at them "We need to do something about Isabella. She's asking questions."

Frowns plaster there faces. Carlisle nods "We'll think if something to do with her." The others males nodding alone with him. "Good." Rosalie says as Derek comes up behind her.

Charlie comes into the hospital room quickly as a nurse is checking out Maria. "Maria. You ok?" He walks quickly towards her and looks to his side and back at her. His head does a double take when he sees Tyler in the same room. "You and I are gonna take."
