hello, this is a quick authors note before you read the story. this fic was made when i was probably 14 or 15, and very cringy.
PLEASE keep in mind before continuing that you absolutely will not like the beginning unless you are ALSO cringy. this fic includes stupid terminology like "bean" and shit like that. toby likes waffles in it, ben is a perv, and the main character cries a LOT over EVERYTHING. this was done on purpose. she's SUPPOSED to piss you off. before you comment hating on it, just remember it gets better. it deals with serious topics despite how stupid it may seem at first.
i encourage everyone to read it, obviously, but i was VERY stupid when i wrote it, i have outgrown all this shit (obviously) but i noticed a spike in views and thought that the people commenting were kind of dumb for not realizing it was intentional.
if you like books where toby doesn't enjoy waffles move on because you won't like this one much.
also cassie is my fav character, give her a chance and you'll love her by the end.
