[Day I: Preparation]
I have melded the components of the pieces of Zefferus weaponry which they have gifted us Bernuzanias. There may be an ancient past within us Bernuzanias and those who use Zefferus. The names of their kind are classified for their safety as we are outsiders who had stumbled into their land.
Here are the ingredients I had used to make the portal in case anyone else who finds this journal wishes to head to this new land: A concoction of several shredded Goblin arms, a firefly, grass, corrupted grass, fluorescent Rosebuds, enchanted water, and an eye from a raven.
Other requirements for the portal: You have to brew this on the night of a full moon, and with the concoction in a cauldron, you must slay and drink a liter of wolf blood. Then wait an hour before you prick yourself; adding your blood to the concoction. You must add ten pints of your own blood.
You must also add an Artifact of whatever assortment you desire, the smaller it is, the more you need, the bigger it is, the less of them it requires. Then once all of those are added, you must burn them all together with 90% of your magic. Once you're exhausted, you add several Healing Potions of different strengths to the cauldron, you stir and chant the brewing incantation.
The success rate of creating the portal is half as likely if you are not proficient in making portal brews. Once it has successfully been brewed, you carefully apply them into an enchanted vial made of black glass or if you're lucky: The brewed portal would regulate and adapt to the normal vials we Witches use.
If all is said and done, you have created a portal to the realm where Zefferus magic is used by those of which it remains uncharted.
Thus, I, Voxmorinqa, will be signing out.
[Day II: Expedition]
Placing the portal, once entered, I was brought into a world filled with Greenlands, mountains stretching far from the eye can see. They were lined up perfectly to make a terrarium wall, and the animals were far from harmless in any regard. I had to use a plethora of vials to make my getaway from it.
The creature who chased me down was a giant bear-like creature, a toothy maw, and tendrils peering out of its body like make-shift arms. Fending off the beast was more difficult than any other battle I may encounter as a Witch with the undead or other spellcasters. (I am aware of the Witch's positions in the spellcaster realm.)
The night would be approaching soon... I am quite uncertain of my certainty of survival in uncharted territory. With new creatures and many other foes that I am not wary of.
Amid the night sky, an ear-piercing screech erupted from the heights of this land. Though I do not see any creature lurking outside my field of vision. I had a potion that enhances my senses to ensure my safety is of the higher measures. Though I couldn't catch anything. Nothing at all.
A few minutess after my latest message in the journal, a creatu re is lurking around my camp. The creature's are large bat - lik e creeaturess with a wingspan of r0ughly 2o feeet. A gust of wind bashing into my body eve ry secon... Every second. I wasn't su re how long these creaturesss woullldd be circling ar0ound my camp.
[Day III: Zefferus Casters]
I have been rescued by Zefferus casters and they had reluctantly taken me in as support from the outer realms. They have no use for leaving this plane which they called home... Rather they referred to it as "Zormidaisa". The creatures who swirled above me last night were called "Taigusts".
Rarely anyone here know of the common language we speak back on our plane of Mt. Serena. Only the chief actually knew how to speak the common tongue as me, and he asked that I teach them a bit of alchemy and they promise to provide insight and a clear path to their encampments. Though the offer was astonishingly beneficial for the humans in learning a new race, I humbly declined and told them that a Wizard Councilmember would be coming here at some point. They were our leaders and we couldn't make major decisions without their consent in our actions.
They were understanding of my position as a Witch and about the Wizard Councilmembers. They supplied me with new herbs and materials from this plane so I can use it for my alchemical brews. I thanked them and one of them summoned a portal. They told me that this would bring me to one of the nearby towns.
I entered and was transported in front of a town, the town was an agricultural town, farmland was set in different directions with different plantations. Those of which I was not familiar with, I took some for samples on a later day.
Each moment I had those new samples in my bag, I would imagine what I could mix in with these ingredients to create a new concoction. The new brews that I could make for the other Witches.
[Day IV: Alchemy Discoveries]
New potions have been created. I would formally create recipes for them when I return back to the land of Mt. Serena. The new properties are indifferent to those of the normal lands, they provide more potent energy, the weave here is more wildly surging every second within the potions. All that I could do to contain the wild magic, they would either explode or vanish into thin air only to return empty.
I wonder how these potions will compute with the other Witches...
[Day V: Words of the Tree.]
The people here in this village had mentioned a Tree that has many names, one of which is the source of their magic. Of Zefferus.
I explore around the areas they say the Tree may be located. I would face off foes of various kinds, but the new brews prove to be effective against the creatures, against the woods, the stone, the-- night would arrive.
I can hear the screeching again.
[Day VI: The Tree]
The Tree of Many Names. I've found it. Its beautiful golden yellow leaves, the tinted green streaks swerving through the branches. I could feel the magical energy piercing my soul, the warmth of its presence placed me in a relaxed state. Grabbing one of the leaves that has fallen, just the touch of the leaves would provide enough energy for a plethora of brews later on!
I.........
The Tree of Many Names can't be discovered by mere mortals. I'm sorry we had to betray you like this, but we can't let you spread information about us.
