-ˋˏ CHAPTER 36ˎˊ-

↳ ❝ [ WYATT? ] ¡! ❞

  .・゜゜・[Y/N] POV

After the quarrel between Umbridge and McGonagall in the hallway, everything has changed.

The Minister was informed and announced that Umbridge was now High Inquisitor. She's been monitoring the classes all day long. Between Potions and Divination. Charms and Herbology. And every time, she had the clipboard with her.

It's been going on long enough. She'd interrupt a class to ask a question to the Professor of the respected class. A question that led her to write down the answer to. No doubt to report back to the Minister. Running back and forth like a loyal dog. That's all she was.

And it was nice to know that I wasn't the only one who thought so. The twins were on my side, as they usually were. Along with the trio. Recently, their classes had been crashed, too. Umbridge going at the Professors with short remarks. It just seems that Sybil Trelawney, the Divinations Professor, had gotten the short end of the stick.

Her bags were placed and Filch was carelessly moving them beside her. Large suitcases that looked like they could hold more than it seemed. Professor Trelawney stumbled back, sitting against her suitcase. Tears spilled down her cheeks. She brought up a hand to try and wipe them away, but leaving Hogwarts was no easy task.

Umbridge folded her hands in front of her. A prideful expression coated her face.

Everyone piled outside to watch.

''Sixteen years I've lived and taught here.'' Professor Trelawney sobbed, trying to argue with another claim. One that Umbridge hadn't dared to take into account. ''Hogwarts is my home. You can't do this.''

''Actually,'' Umbridge raised her nose. ''I can.''

I was gently pushed aside. McGonagall rushed out, bringing Trelawney comfortably into her embrace. Looking up, she was met with the face of Umbridge. Who seemed to despised McGonagall's sudden arrival.

''Something you'd like to say?''

''Oh, there are several things I'd like to say.''

The Courtyard grew silent again. For a few short seconds.

The doors had opened and out walked Dumbledore. He hadn't shown himself since the beginning of the year. And he only decides to do so when Trelawney is being thrown off the grounds. No offense, but I'm sure we had much more important matters in past days and he hadn't done anything.

Harry's suddenly giddy figure caught my attention. Urging himself to stay still for now and catch up with Dumbledore later.
