The threads of curiosity continued to weave through Alex and Marcus's thoughts, intertwining with their growing anticipation. The mere mention of the word 'coincidence' had ignited a spark of frustration within Alex. He detested the idea that so many intricate events could align so perfectly without reason. Perhaps tonight, within the cozy embrace of The Brunch Nook, they would finally find some of the missing pieces that would render those coincidences logical.

As they entered the cozy place, the aroma of fresh coffee surrounded them, and a low hum of chatter filled the air. They chose a table and settled in, Alex carefully placing the book oin his backpack, while Marcus arranged his own school books.

As they considered heading to the counter to place their order, their attention was captivated by a familiar presence—Anya. A smile spread across Marcus' face as he observed her entrance, her cheerful demeanor instantly brightening the atmosphere. Making her way towards them, she took a seat at the table.

After the initial greetings, Anya's joy set a lighthearted tone. "Hey, you two! How's life treating you today?"

Alex and Marcus exchanged glances, their expressions clearly conveying their anticipation. "Actually, we've been looking forward to this," Alex admitted, "We've got quite a bit to share."

Anya's eyes sparkled with intrigue. "Awesome.. But, trust me, I've got a few updates of my own too." Her playful tone hinted at the depth of the revelations she was about to bring to the table.

Before they could delve further into the conversation, the topic of Jordan emerged. Alex and Marcus exchanged a questioning look, wondering if he would be joining them. They explained to Anya that they weren't sure if he'd be receptive to the subject matter.

Anya's smile widened. "You know Jordan—when something piques his curiosity, he seems to be all in. Also... I might have nudged him a little too this morning." She remarked, her confidence in Jordan's involvement evident.

"Let's just hope he doesn't think we're going insane after all these stories and updates.." Alex added.

Just as the topic of Jordan was winding down, the familiar creak of the Nook's door caught their attention. The entrance revealed Jordan, earphones nestled in his ears, laptop clutched in his hand, and backpack slung over his shoulder. He made his way towards their table, his presence both casual and enigmatic, a perfect embodiment of his usual demeanor.

A round of greetings followed—Jordan's calm demeanor a stark contrast to the lively energy of the group. Anya beamed at his arrival. Jordan settled into a chair next to her, his gaze shifting between each of them.

"What's up," Jordan greeted, the slight nod of his head accompanied by a small smirk.

"Good to have you here," Marcus commented.

Jordan's lips quirked into a faint smile. "Yeah, well, it's my first time at this Nook thing, so hopefully it lives up to the hype."

Anya chimed in, her tone light. "Don't worry, Jordan. They've got some killer food here."

With a casual shrug, Jordan acknowledged hunger. "Well, I'm definitely hungry, so I'm counting on that."

The mention of hunger resonated with the group, particularly with Alex who was quick to seize the opportunity. "I'm with you on that, man. Let's go get something."

As they made their way to order for the group, Alex seized the moment to engage Jordan in conversation. "So, Jordan, what are you feeling today?"

Jordan's brows furrowed slightly, as if he was weighing his options. "Well, I'm thinking a classic burger is the way to go,"
