"Why? Why did this happen?" Crying into Noah's chest.
"You don't remember? What's the last thing you remember?" he asked her.
"I remember being in the throne room, with Drussela. We were talking, someone ran into the room and that's all I remember." A few seconds of silence pass. "Oh my god Drussela, is she ok?" She moves away from Noah, taking a few steps back.
Rubbing his neck and mumbling he says "Yeah about that. We need to talk about her."
"Why, what happened to her, is she ok? She's ok right?"
After sitting down and telling Crissy what had happened on that fateful night Crissy was so full of rage that she had started to repeat her actions of that night. As black light starts to surround her and Noah, again. Realizing what had happened she takes a deep breath and the light disappears.
"I will do better this time around. I won't let my emotions hurt me. Let's go home, Noah." Smiling, she stands up, waves her arm, and a portal with purple hues appears in the room. Turning around she smiles and takes his hand. They step into the portal to go home for a happy ever after.
What they actually got was hellish. Stepping through the portal they landed in the throne room, the tattered torn apart, the dreary throne room. Glass all over the place, along with cobwebs and dust. The throne, once beautiful and loved, was abandoned. Reluctantly Crissy and Noah walk around the room, Crissy dragging her finger through a patch of dust.
"What the hell happened here, Drussela would never let her throne be so wronged. Even if she is a traitor." Crissy beckons Noah to follow her. "Stay low, until we figure out what's happening."
Walking down those familiar unpredictable hallways, yelling can be heard from every room. Unable to tell whether it was from pain or anger. Footsteps are heard coming from the opposite direction getting closer to the two.
"Quick in here" Noah whispers as he grabs Crissys' arm and pulls her into the dungeon. Crissy goes to say something but Noah covers her mouth. Two guards, holding weapons, walk past as they converse with each other. Noah peaks his head out to assure that they are unnoticed. "Ok, I think we're good." He uncovers Crissy's mouth. "What should we do? There are guards everywhere."
"Let's wait it out, just until I know what's going on. This place is a travesty and I don't think it's Drus' fault." She sits down, looks over to the cell and sees that there is a tray with food on it. Looking around, she sees the bedding on the bed disheveled and a glass of water. No one to be seen in the cell. "Someone's been here recently." She stands up and walks closer to the cell. Noticing someone under the bed she speaks up. "Who is in here, please I am here to help."
"Go away" A raspy voice cries out. "I don't want your help" It whimpers again.
Stepping forward towards the cell as well Noah speaks up. "Please we mean no harm."
Crawling from underneath the bed A mass of blonde hair, filled with dirt and a face covered by it, showing blue eyes. "Hello Crissy." A sheepish wry smile appears on her face.
"Savannah?" How did you get here? Why are you here?" bewildered and overwhelmed she zaps the lock open to greet her friend. Running towards her, she hugs her. "I've been looking everywhere for you!"
"Wait." Savannah says quietly, pushing away her friend. "I need to tell you something first, or I guess show you." With a wave of her hand, Savannah is now Drussela. "Before you get mad let me explain, please."
Noah, stepping into the cell, grabs Crissy and pulls her away from Drussela. "How could you? How dare you betray me in both my lives? You never cared for me did you?" Crissy cries while her voice wavers with anger and sadness.
"Let me explain please. I beg you." She drops on her knees. "I have no powers, I cannot trick you, just listen."
"Fine, you have five minutes." Crossing her arms and moving further away from Drussela, Crissy sits to hear her out.
"It was Amos, he played me. Tapped into darkest fears and convinced me that Noah was no good, like all humans, he said. That just like him, I would be replaced. He used his powers to control my emotions, made me see things that weren't there. After you were cast out I realized what had actually happened. That he had used his powers on you too. That's why you went ballistic. I slipped out when I could and made up Savannah, to help you and make sure you were alright. I saw Noah was watching you as well. I pushed the planchette around, to help your memory, but then Amos found me. He took me, calling me a traitor and stripped me of my powers. Now I'm here. That was months ago. Please Crissy, believe me. I need you to believe me."
Crissy sighs, sits in silence for a few moments then says "I forgive you, but I don't trust you anymore."
"Thank you, I love you so much Crissy. I really do. I missed you, I really missed you." Drussela cries out, leaping forward and hugs Crissy. She looks to Noah, who hasn't said a word. "And you? Do you forgive me?"
"Not yet. Not until you prove that you truly are sorry, not for my sake but for hers." Nodding towards Crissy.
