It was late at night and Habit couldn't sleep.
His stomach tossed and turned, but no matter how hard he tried to ignore it the pain was too unbearable. It was rare that Habit felt the need to sleep, he could push the limits of Evan's body all he wanted after all, but even he knew that Evan's body could only strain so much before it needed rest. This pain he felt, it was common, and one he knew too well; Hunger.
Hunger had a habit of striking him at the oddest times, and it just so happened that it struck at one of the most inconvenient times. Of course, it was fate's way of messing with him. The one time he tries to rest his host is the time where his body betrays him.Seeing as the pain only grew worse the more he lay in bed awake, Habit decided to get up.
There was no harm in getting a little something to satisfy his hunger, and there was no one to stop him anyways. Sitting up from his previous laying position, he stands up and begins walking out of his bedroom and down the stairs towards the kitchen.Habit enjoyed eating sometimes, while it was more of a required activity to keep his victim's body alive, it felt good to eat. Habit always enjoyed the feeling of eating, especially if it brought pain to the victim of his torment.
Looking around the kitchen he pondered what to go for; he could look in the pantry but more likely than not he would only find ingredients to prepare a grander meal, that simply won't do, he's only here to satiate his gutting hunger so he can go to sleep.
He could look in the freezer as well, but Habit didn't feel like making anything frozen, especially since he only wanted something small.
Habit opened the fridge and looked around, goddammit, there was nothing that caught his interest. This made him think, 'If there was nothing in the pantry, fridge, or freezer, then what the hell am I gonna eat?'
He looked around the kitchen more before looking on the counter at the fruit bowl which was filled with a variety of fruits Habit might enjoy: bananas, apples, grapes, and something else that caught his eye,A pear, a singular lonely pear.
Picking up the pear Habit spent no time taking a bite.
As he chewed he started to get dizzy and felt even sicker than he did in bed.He dropped the pear and clasped at his throat, coughing violently.
It took no time before he dropped to his knees and fell to the floor, unconscious. Was it worth it, Habit?

Big book of silliness that doesn't matter
