As everyone arrives to potions, you see that you have been seated next to Theo. You both have complete dramatic ass breakdowns and beg to sit somewhere else but Professor Slughorn makes you go back to our seats.
Upon seeing that you are sitting next to him,he rolls his eyes and crosses his arms infront of his chest, clearly annoyed that he has to be seated next to you aswell. During the potions lectures, you are too disracted by your irritation towards one another, causing you to struggle to make sense of the information.
Theo is making snide remarks throughout the course of the class. He is taking full advantage of his seat next to you. You are getting progressively more and more annoyed as the class drags on, even letting out a few groans and eyerolls now and again. You can hear his annoying laughter throughout the potions classroom. It gets to the point where Professor Slughorn notices the both of you arent paying attention and calls on you both to answer. Before you even had a chance to respond, Theo has already shouted out an answer, your blood boils in your veins and you feel like your about to snap.
The answer Theo provides is correct and professor slughorn nods with approval. This enrages you even more and you turn to look at Theo, who is looking at you with a smug expression on hisface. he silently mouths the words "Ha! Take that Malfoy!" as he turns back to the Professor.
"You know, if you werent such an obnoxious dick we would have made a great duo" you say with a big smirk looking at Theo.
Your comment causes theo to turn his head to face you in disbelief. He is taken aback by the comment and doesnt know how to respond at first. He clears his throat and speaks with a sarcastic tone,
"Oh, please. Dont flatter yourself. The only reason i would ever want to team up with you is if i wanted to go crazy."
You look back at him and say,
"Well at least im not an obnoxious stuck up brat with a superiority complex"
Your comment causes him to look at you with a raised brow.
"Did she just say i have a superiority complex?" he thinks to himself.
The tension between you both is palpable in the potions classrroom,Professor Slughorn keeps lecturing the class, completely oblivious to the argument taking place right behind him.
(authors note- please guys feel free to leave any comments or things i could do better, as i said im fairly new to this sort of thing so any help is apreciated.. also i know this chapter was quite long so hopefully you enjoyed it)
