Chapter 5: After Class

After 20 more excruciating minutes, the lesson was finally over. You and Theo remain behind. Professor Slughorn is standing at his desk, looking at both of you as you walk towards him. He speaks to both of you,

"I expect you two to start showing more respect for me and this class. And i would appreciate it if i did not have to see the both of you whispering to one another during class again"

Both of you nod in agreement and you speak,

"Professor im so sorry it wont happen again, i just-.. me and Theo really dont get along"

Professor Slughorn looks at you for a moment before looking back at Theo. He then turns his eyes back to you. 

"Im sure there are a lot of things you both dislike about eachother, that does not give you the right to act like complete children in my classroom." He gives a stern look at the both of you

"And it seems your hatred for Mr Nott is quite profound. i would suggest getting over it. i do not think there will be a class where you two are not required to interact with eachother.."

You glare at Professor Slughorn for a moment, clearly annoyed at his choice of words. The Professor doesnt seem to notice your annoyance and turns to the both of you again.

"Dismissed" He says as he turns away.

Both you and Theo quickly leave the classroom. You look over at Theo and whisper,

"Im never getting over this" 

With a roll of his eyes he responds

"Neither am i, Malfoy"

You make your way back to the Slytherin Common Room, still annoyed at Theo. As you enterr the common room, you find Theo already sitting there with the rest of our friend group.

"Hey y/n!" Lorenzo calls out, "come sit with us, Draco was just telling us about what you did in the summer"

"oh hey, Enzo, yeah he loves to boast, dont you dray dray" i tease him

dray dray is a nickname our mother and me used to call draco all the time. he hates it.

You quickly take your seat across from theo, making sure he can see your angry expression as you join in the conversation. you begin whispering to yourself

"That little weasel always has to be right"

Theo hears this and he looks at you witha sarcastic smirk on hisface. you hear him begin whispering to himself, but loud enough for you to hear 

"You're such a sore loser"

You roll your eyes and secretly give Theo the finger. He smiles, still seeming amused by your anger towards him. Our friend group and the other Slytherin house members also seem amused as they watch the two of you interacting with one another. 

"Are you two secretly in love? i mean i always thought you two had a thing for eachother" Draco whispers loudly

This causes our friends to laugh loudly. Theo snickers and rolls his eyes while not taking his eyes away from you for one second..

You and theo continue to glare at eachother silently for a moment before our friends all start to engage in various conversations with one another. Theo leans back in his chair, still looking towards you and mouths the word 'loser' at you, causing an annoyed and irritated look to cross your face.

You get up and head back to your dorm where you recieve a message from your friends in the groupchat...
