Fears

In shadows of my deepest fears,
A childhood soaked in silent tears,
A wounded soul concealed within,
As innocence was stripped and thin.

In whispers hushed, the secrets laid,
A heavy burden I had made,
Lurking ghosts within my mind,
Forever haunted, confined.

Scars unseen, etched on my heart,
A shattered world, torn apart,
Once vibrant dreams began to fade,
In the darkness, I was afraid.

A fragile seed with roots so weak,
With tainted memories, I did speak,
Yet, in the depths of my despair,
A resilience began to flare.

Through broken days and sleepless nights,
I fought to reclaim my lost light,
With every breath, a will to heal,
To rewrite the tale, scars to conceal.

Like a phoenix rising from the ash,
I sought solace, a love to smash,
The chains that bound me to the past,
To build a future that would last.

Through therapy, my heart unwound,
Inner child embraced, love profound,
With gentle love and tender care,
I learned that healing could be there.

Through trembling steps, I found my way,
Towards a brighter, stronger day,
With empathy, I now extend,
To those who've also faced this end.

May we find solace in our strength,
And reach for skies, no longer bent,
For childhood trauma may scar our past,
But it won't define us till the last.

With unity, we'll lend a hand,
To those who need it, understand,
That in the darkness, scars may dwell,
But love and healing can break the spell.

So let us stand, survivors strong,
Against the tides that did us wrong,
For childhood trauma may have been,
But now we rise, and we shall win.
