FAMILY DINNER

━━ I have ZERO idea what's going on right now. It's been days and days and Josie and Adeline have been so fucking awkward. Actually awkward doesn't even being to explain what's happening.

Josie still hasn't told me what was going on between them, but I'm worried. I haven't really talked to Leah because she hasn't asked to hang out which was disappointing.

But what can ya do? "Baby you do realize I have to go back to my room right?" Josie whispered in my ear, I could hear that she was sleepy. Her voice was laced with sleep.

"Stay with me please. You can go in the morning. I missed you." Josie moved out. Like completely but she still stays over just to stay. Being alone with her in her home, was absolutely amazing.

I mean, we can be as loud as we want with no one to disturb us. She told everyone the next day after hanging out with Adeline, and Adeline seemed to take it the hardest.

Of course I was sad but I knew she was already looking for them. "Fine. If we get caught, I'm blamin it on you." We both laughed a bit and drifted off into sleep.

The next day, my dad came into my room without knocking and luckily Josephine was already gone. It was getting harder and harder to hide this relationship. "Come downstairs." I nodded and he left, he also left the door open. Fuck this dude man.

I heard Leah downstairs, I was excited to see my bestie who I know I drifted from, and I feel like I need to tell her everything's that happened. I will let Josephine know but she deserves to know about us because she's been feeding into my delusions since I could remember.

I walked downstairs, a bright smile on my face. "Leahhhhh!" I screamed. "Cookieeeeee!" She screamed back, we hugged one another like we just both came back from war. We did. Being apart.

Mom laughed at us and we all gathered around the table. "Listen, I want to have a family dinner. I have something to tell you guys. And I want you guys to be there for me." She said, that made me slightly lose my smile.

"What's wrong mama?" I asked, I looked at Josie who patted her lap. Okay this was okay, Adeline knew how close all four of us were so she allowed this. Leah had gotten into her lap anyways.

I sat in Josephine's lap, resting my head on her shoulder as mom continued. "Nothing for you to worry about cookie, right now, all I want is for everyone to be at dinner at 6 pm. No later."

I played with Josephine's hands as she talked. "Where?" Addy asked. "Hm, how does Cheesecake Factory sound?" Leah and I nodded fast.

Dad laughed at us both, rubbing my moms back. I was slightly concerned, what was gonna happen? What did she need to tell us all? Was she gonna out Josie and I? No she wouldn't do that.

I sat up, still playing with my girlfriends fingers. "Dress nicely by the way."

We all nodded. "Wait, but we aren't like immediate family." Leah said, talking about her and Josephine. "You guys are both my daughters. You are apart of our family whether you like it or not."

I smiled looking at Josephine and shocking, when I looked at Leah and Adeline, they were smiling at one another too. Leah looked over at me and I raised an eyebrow.
