I'm just going to come right out and say it:
Hi. My name is August. I'm nonbinary. My pronouns are they/them or he/him.
What's your name? What's your gender? What are your pronouns? Comment below!
It's not easy being nonbinary, or any form of transgender for that matter. But since AI have more experience with being nonbinary, that's what I'm going to talk about.
People don't get what nonbinary means. I literally copied and pasted this from the gender wiki.
Non-Binary Genders are gender identities that don't fit within the accepted binary of male and female. People can feel they are both, neither, or some mixture thereof. It might be easier to view gender as a 1-dimensional spectrum with male on one end, female on the other, and androgyne in the middle- but the reality is that gender is more complex, and 3-dimensional models with axes for male, female, and how strongly you feel attached to that gender identity have been suggested.
Now that you've read that, here's what I am: I feel like neither. Now, I'm not agender. Don't pull that on me. Agenderm eans you don't feel that you have agender. I feel that I have a gender, I just don't feel like mine is inside the gender binary of male and female. People don't understand what pronouns you prefer. Whether the be xie/xiem/xier, they/them, or ei/eim/eir, they just don't get it. They might say "those aren't real pronouns" (like for xie/xiem/xier and ei/eim/eir) or "they is referring to multiple people!" Like, no, you're just delusional.
And then people think they have the right to call you an it. Like no. If my pronouns were it/it's, then you could call me that. BUt they aren't. My pronouns are they/them or he/him. Just because I don't identify within the gender binary does not make me an it. I am a they and I am beautiful.
Let's talk about transitioning. Let me get this straight. There is NOT a gender neutral body part, yet. When there is, so many lives will have been made happy. But there isn't. You can only transition into a male or female. So if by the time I'm 18 they don't have a gender neutral genitalia, I will become male until they do or until I die. Whichever comes first. My cousin asked "If there isn't a gender neutral body part, then the why not just stay female?" God, you're stupid. I'm like this (nonbinary) because I don't like being female. I will become male because I feel that that is my place until I can get a gender neutral genitalia.

Non-FictionI'm not gonna lie. Getting people to use your preferred pronouns is hard. Most social media websites only have male or female as an option. I hope that changes one day.
