It happened so fast.. I don't know what came over me, but I couldn't stop myself. I blacked out, and all of my nightmares became reality. No one can ever find out about this, this tragedy will be kept to myself until i am buried 6ft under.

PRESENT DAY, SAN DIEGO

MELANIE • sitting at her desk, working on her laptop•

ANGELINA • walks into the building, almost passing by Melanie •

MELANIE: I'm going to have to stop you right there, Angelina.

ANGELINA:  Please don't start with me, not today at least.

MELANIE:   I apologize, but Miss Sanchèz is in a very important business meeting, she specifically asked me not to let anyone by.

ANGELINA:   Well i'm sure that doesn't include her own best friend. Now, if you'd excuse me. • she tries walking past again •

MELANIE • quickly gets up from her desk, blocking the entrance to the office • I'm sorry Miss Crockett, but you aren't going in there.

ANGELINA:   Mel, please step aside before i help you.

MELANIE:   But Miss Cr-

ANGELINA • quickly shoving Melanie out of the way, heading into the office •

MELANIE: *thoughts* do i really get paid enough for this?

AFTER THE MEETING...

DESIREE • Heading back to her office after the meeting, and is startled by Angelina, whom is sitting near her desk •
DESIREE: What the fuck, Ange?!

ANGELINA • Laughs • , I guess your not so "big and badass" after all, huh?

DESIREE: Bitch, what are you even doing here?

ANGELINA : Well, i missed you babe! • She gets up from the chair, heading over to Desiree and leans in for a hug •

DESIREE • Hugs Angelina • I guessed i missed you too, but really, what're you doing here? You better not have disrespected my assistant.. AGAIN!

ANGELINA: She'll be fine, but uh.. I've heard some rumors that your business is getting taken over, what's that about Des? I know it must be JUST a rumor, because that doesn't sound at all like you.

DESIREE : Well, that's what my big meeting was about. No, i'm not giving up my business, i've worked and too hard and i've come so far..

ANGELINA: So about the meeting..?

DESIREE: Do you know who Vance Davis is?

ANGELINA: I've heard about him, he buys out plenty of businesses & makes it his secret "money laundering" business, right?

DESIREE : That's correct, and that's what he's trying to do with my business. He knows i own one of the most-valued art business in this city, but luckily he hasn't come close yet, and-

The phone begins to ring..

DESIREE • answers the phone call • Sanchèz from Wildfire Designs speaking, how can I help you?

UNKNOWN: Hello, am i speaking to the owner of this business?

DESIREE : Yes, you are, how can i help you Sir?

UNKNOWN : Hello, my name is Vance Davis, i'm sure you've heard of me..
