It was happening again, that feeling where i'm trapped in a suffocating storm, my heart was pounding, I felt powerless, and overwhelmed as i stood there in shock. The lifeless body that lays before me, looking up at me, as i suffer in silence...

UNKNOWN: Miss Sanchèz? Are you alright?

• Desiree quickly grabs her knife , pointing it at the unrecognized face •

DESIREE: Who the f*ck are you? Start talking before I start slicing!

UNKNOWN:  Oh my God! Miss! I'm just the nurse here, you went out for a second i had to make sure you were alright! Please, put the knife away!

* a chuckle , coming from a familiar voice *
* Desiree turns , to see the face of Lorenzo *

LORENZO:  Damn, your truly a bada*s.

DESIREE:  What the f*ck? How did i get here?

LORENZO:  Yeah, I think you fainted at the sight of blood. It's quite pathetic if you ask me.

DESIREE: Will you shut the f*ck up & and get me the f*ck out of here?

LORENZO:  You're not going anywhere, not after what you just witnessed.

DESIREE: What the hell? So your gonna hold me hostage? • she laughs •

• he gets up , walking toward her & lifts her chin up to face him •

LORENZO:  If that's a necessary step to take, then yes.

• she pushes his hand off of her •

DESIREE: If you ever touch me again, i'll put a bullet in your brain.

• they get interrupted by Desiree's ringing cell •

DESIREE:  • picks up her phone • Who is this?

VANCE:  I'm calling back to make sure that you accepted my offer.

Desiree's thoughts. { my heart began to sank, i quickly thought of the "plan" and went on with it.}

DESIREE: Oh, Vance, is it? I'd like to talk it over with you, how about we go out to dinner tomorrow night?

VANCE: I'm flattered, but i'm married. Let's keep this professional and-

DESIREE:  i'll be worth your while, Mr. Davis. I'll send you the location at the restaurant, and if you really want this, you'll be there. • she hangs up •

LORENZO: What are you up to?

DESIREE:  Im going through with the plan, remember?

LORENZO:  • smirks • i knew you'd come around.

DESIREE:  This isn't for you, as*hole! This is for my business! I'm collaborating with you for the money , and don't you forget it. • she walks off •

• about 30 minutes later , Desiree arrives at home •

WILDFIRE DESIGNS, CO.

• As Melanie is sitting at the front desk , she gets a strange man walking toward her •

MELANIE: Hi, welcome to wildfire designs, how can I help you?

MAN: Hello, do you know if Miss Sanchèz is around?

MELANIE: No, im sorry! She's not in today, I can leave her a message for you if you'd like!

MAN: No, that's fine. I'm actually here to talk to you.

MELANIE: Oh! Me? About what?

MAN:  • he takes a seat • My name is Christian Lewis, I'm a private investigator, working for the Chime Family. I'm pretty sure your boss has a dark past. A past she left behind in her hometown.

MELANIE: Im sorry sir, but why have you come to me about this?

MAN: I need you to keep an eye on her for me. Please, if you see any suspicious activity in her, please report it to me. If you do this for me, i can guarantee you a big cash prize. I've been watching her for years, and i haven't come close enough yet.

MELANIE:  I understand. It's a deal, put your number in my phone & i will surely report any suspicious acts to you.

MAN:  Thank you Miss...

MELANIE :  Mel is fine.
