Chapter 4

Finn's POV

I leaped up from the seat. I was unsure about how this was going to work but I was going to try. Bubblegum tilted her head at me.  She slowly stood up uncertain to if she should or not. I slowly moved my hands around her waist. She looked up at me. She probably hadn't noticed how tall I had gotten since we first met. She smiled at me and I bend down so our lips were on the same level. I lend forwards were our lips could touch any second. We were ready to move when suddenly we heard footsteps. I pulled her into my arms, symbolizing I would keep her safe. Just then Jake came walking out of the bushes. "Dude where have you been?" Jake asked. I looked down at PB. Of all times he could've shown up, of course he chose right before I would have kissed her "Is now a bad time?" He said. " I can come back later if u want..." " It's fine, the I should probably get going. The guards are probably waiting on me, bye ... Finn." She walked away. I wanted to pull her back into my arms and kiss her lips. Still I just stood there, watching my true love walk away. She looked back at me and blew a kiss. I felt it land softly on my cheek.

"So, what was that about?" Jake said as we walked through the treehouse doors. "No reason," I say changing the subject. " So is BMO still asleep or like what?" I questioned " Dude! Do change the subject, are you guys like hiding this little "thing" between ya'll?" " No, No!" I protested "Sureeeeee" Jake yawned " well I think I'm gonna have to take myself up on that ' marry my bed' offer." He walked up the stairs and climbed in his bed. I sighed as I looked out the window. " why did Jake have to show up.." I said in a whisper tone. "Yea why did he?" I spun around to see Princess Bubblegum standing behind me. "When did you get here." I sad nervously. "Not that long." I walked over to her I pulled her closer. She smiled up at me. She crashed her lips into mine. I closed my eyes and enjoyed my first kiss. I could stay like this forever but it's over soon. I look into her eyes but, it isn't her glisten. " Finn, I love you." " I love you too, PB." Suddenly I hear my name coming at me from all directions. " PB is that you" "FINN IF YOU DON'T WAKE UP RIGHT NOW!" I raised my head up. I was clutching Princess Bubblegum's hair. " It was a dream." I said quietly. " Kid you need to speak u-" "IT WAS A FREAKING DREAM" I screamed " Calm down man, what is it?"  I stood up and walked out of the tree house. "What the heck did I do?" Jake yelled though the window. I just needed to be alone, it had nothing to do with Jake. I mean not really anyway. But of course speak of the devil, there goes PB her royal self. I look at her to see her make eye contact with me. Had she been crying? She ran over to me. I held my arm out. She ran past me grabbing my hand and pulling me away with her. She ran down a hill and spun me around to be face to face with her. "Hey Cutie." She cooed in my ear. I blushed. " Hey Pb and J." She giggled. She pulled me over n close to her face. "You ready?" I thought for a second. Was I ready? I thought I was. But was I right? I nodded unsure. "Ok then." "PB?" "Yea?" I hesitated. "Are you ready?" "Yea I am, thanks for asking." She said. I took a deep breath. "Let's do it." PB leaned in and touched our lips together. I loved her so much. We stopped and just smiled at each other "I love you." She said to my surprise. " I love you more." I said. But neither of us realized the consequences of saying those words and kissing each other. I knew Jake would be on 'team Fubblegum' but, what about the rest of the candy kingdom. I was just a normal guy and she was an extraordinary Princess. I was in for it. But of course that wasn't on my mind at the moment. But it was as soon over and we couldn't ovoid the obvious elephant in the room. "What are we going to tell everyone?" She asked. "We could always just not tell anybody." I offered. "No...we shouldn't hide it. I am not ashamed to be 'madly' in love with you." "Well I'm not either."  " but... can we at least kiss again?" I asked. She giggled. "I didn't realize that I was such a good kisser." She batted her eyes playfully at me. I couldn't help but chuckle my self. "Anyway one last question." She turned to make eye contact." Yea what is it?" I answered. She looked at her feet and blushed. "If I told you that was my first kiss what would you say?" I looked up at her. "Well is it true?" She nodded. "Well, it was um....my 1st real kiss." "I'll take it!" She said she grabbed my shirt and pulled me closer. "You're not that bad of a kisser yourself," she kissed me again. I was in Heaven.
