Maya thought it would be a good idea to record a behind-the-scenes video of her Converse photoshoot.
The photoshoot happened in mid-November, around the same time she started her YouTube channel.
Now that the pictures have been posted, she can upload the video.
She spent most of the month editing because she didn't have the time to just sit down and edit everything in one go. She needed to spread out the editing throughout November.
Now that Thanksgiving and Black Friday are around the corner and Christmas is coming up, it was the perfect time to do it.
The video went up and she went onto her Instagram and posted about it on her Instagram story with a hyperlink to take whoever wants to watch the video to YouTube.
She got more subscribers over the course of the month. Part of it was because of who she's related to and who she's friends with. Most people stayed because they seemed to like what she's posting and who knows and related to seems like an added bonus.
On Wednesday, the day before Thanksgiving, Maya and her friends went out for dinner that night.
They went to a sushi bar and then went to Ty's house where they hung out for a bit.
Once it started getting late, they all went home.
They made plans to go Black Friday shopping together.
Maya asked them if she could vlog.
They all were fine with it. They didn't mind if she vlogged.
They told her that she didn't have to ask them if she wanted to vlog, just do it, but Maya couldn't bring herself just to vlog.
What if one of them wasn't in the mood to be on camera? She doesn't want them to feel like there was some sort of pressure from her.
Maya closed her laptop and left the house.
After spending a few hours, finishing up the final edits of the vlog, she needed to get out of the house for a bit and do something.
She didn't get up from her desk except to go to the bathroom or to get water.
While in the Starbucks drive-thru, waiting to order her coffee, Ty called her, asking her to do something, which she accepted.
She told him that she was in the Starbucks drive-thru.
"Did you order something yet?" he asked.
"No," Maya said. "Do you want something?"
He told Maya what he wanted.
Ty stayed on the phone while Maya ordered the drinks and got them. She drove over to his house and picked him up.
Ty walked out of the house with his phone in his hand when Maya pulled up.
He hung up the phone and walked over to the car with a big smile on his face.
"Hey," he said when he got into the car.
"Hi," she said.
"Are you ready for black friday shopping today?" Ty asked.
"Yes," Maya said.
"Do you have anything specific in mind to buy?"
"No," Maya admitted, "but I'll find stuff. Where do you want to go?"
"I don't know," Ty said. "I just wanted to hang out with you."
Maya felt butterflies in her stomach.
"Alright," Maya said. "Let's..."
Maya tried to think of somethign to do but nothing came to mind.
Ty picked up his Starbucks drink and took a sip.
They ended up going to Maya's house, where they hung out until they met up with the rest of their friends for Black Friday shopping.
Maya and Ty brought Peter and two of his friends to the mall so they could do the same.
"Alright, call me if anything happens, okay?" Maya told Peter and his friends. "It doesn't matter what it is, tell me and I'll come if you need me."
"You've got nothing to worry about," Peter assured Maya. "We'll call when we're done."
That didn't ease Maya's worry and anxieties over something happening to Peter and his friends. It's one thing to have Peter with her, but with his friends? She had to worry about three boys, not just one.
"Where are you going first?" Maya said.
"GameStop," one of Peter's friends said.
"Okay," Maya said.
Peter and his friends said goodbye and went to GameStop.
"It'll be okay," Ty assured her. "They have their phones on them."
Maya sighed. "I know."
The first place Maya and Ty went to was Bath and Body Works. Their friends hadn't come yet and Madison asked if they could get her some candles that she's been wanting.
Ty stood in line while Maya got the candles and everything else that their friends wanted.
When they were done with the store, they went to a different store. The lines were long.
By the end of their trip at the mall, they hadn't gotten everything they wanted.
The group drove over to Maya and Peter's house where they hung out for the rest of the night. They ordered dinner and finished their Black Friday shopping online.
They were done when their pizza arrived.
Maya called Peter and his friends to come down for the pizza, which they did.
Peter and his friends grabbed a box of cheese pizza and went up to Peter's room. They were playing video games.
Maya and her friends ate the pizza in the living room, watching a movie together.
Once it started getting late, all of Maya's friends went home.
The next day on Saturday, Maya and Ty went to get coffee. They sat at the coffee shop talking and laughing.
Madison, Mason and Chase soon joined them.
When they were done with the coffee shop, Maya spent the rest of the day with Ty. He had invited her to a basketball game, which she accepted.
Like every other game that she went with Ty, she had no idea what was going on, but she still went. Being in the audience watching and being there with Ty was the fun part. Seeing everyone's reactions live was more fun than watching it on the television.
Thankfully, Maya didn't drive to the game.
She and Ty both said it would be a good idea to take an Uber rather than Maya. It would take a while to get out of parking.
They split the price of the Uber.
They went back to Ty's house and Maya took her car from there.
"Thanks for inviting me, Ty," Maya said, hugging Ty.
"It was fun going with you," Ty said as Maya let him go.
"How come you don't invite your other friends?" Maya asked.
Ty shrugged. "I don't know. It's more fun with you."
"But I'm not a sports person," Maya said.
"Yeah, but still," Ty said. "It's fun."
"Oh," she said, smiling. "Um, I'll see you later. I have to go home."
"Yeah, okay," Ty said. "I'll see you later."
After saying goodbyes, Maya got into her car and drove home
