The elevator dinged as we were on the floor we wanted to be on. Once the door opened we saw people on the floor and we saw Beth and Ellie. Ellie ran to us. "You never take an elevator after a quake." She said worried.

"Alyssa dropped the pizza." Kassie said. She sounded sad and scared. Ellie breathed out.

"I love you guys more than pizza." Then she brung us all into a hug. Beth just stood there watching us. Once we got into the house Danny grabbed mine and Bridget's hand almost dragging us into his room. He then took out a big thing that looked almost like a mini box. But it was wrapped in a old rag. Danny set that on his desk and unwrapped it slowly. It revealed a old book that has animal teeth as a lock.

"You think it might be worth something?" Danny asked. He looked at Bridget for an answer but didn't get one. "Mom could do with some extra money.right now, dont you think?" He was still waiting for an answer.

"I don't think mom wants cash from something you stole." Bridget said not taking her eyes off of the book.

"It's not stolen. It's probably been locked in that vault forever." He said. I stayed silent wondering what's inside of that book.

"Yeah and weird shit like this gets locked away for a reason." Bridget said now looking at Danny. Danny picked up the book and turned it to the side. The side with the animal teeth facing upwards. He tried to Pry open the book with his hands.

"Be careful dan." I said because the teeth on the book looks sharp. He the cut himself on the book. He put the book down and put his finger on his mouth. Some blood dripped onto the book.

"Ah, fuck!" He yelled in pain. I looked at Danny and saw the tip of his finger. It was covered in blood.

"Let me see it." I said about to grab his hand. He pushed my hand away and said.

"It's just a nick." I looked back at the book and it started to slowly open. The long sharp teeth slowly opened.

"Dan." Bridget said. Danny looked down and saw the nook opened. He opened the book right away and we saw lines. He flipped to another page and it showed a very skinny naked woman that was burning alive. I started to get an unsettling feeling about this book. The next page was people cutting other people's head off. The blood dripping from their heads.

"Danny please close it." I said. He didn't listen and flipped to another page. It had a woman her hair was drenched in some kind of liquid and bones were around her. He flipped again. The page had a person's eye bleeding and stuff coming out of its mouth. Me and Bridget looked in horror while Danny kept a calm face.

He kept flipping the pages until Bridget got tired of it and closed it shut. "I don't like this dan." Bridget said and turned towards Danny. "You need to put it back right now." Then she started to walk out of the bedroom door.

"Mom's not letting any of us out the front door again tonight." He said, defending himself.

"First thing in the morning then." Bridget then walked out. I stayed with Danny. He looked at me and said.

"Are you staying?" I nodded my head as I sat on his bed. He then got to the book and flipped it open. I rolled my eyes not wanting to look at the pages. "Look what else I found." He told me and he grabbed his book bag and sat in front of me. He took out 2 old and dusty records.

"Well let's hope their not creepy." I said as he walked up to his record player. He placed the disk on the record player and he pressed start. It first started off as deep and mumbling. He then moved the disk with his hands to make the words come out. It started saying that it was a church and was talking about the book of the dead. Then the record stopped.

He took out another record and placed it on the record player. It then started talking about supernatural. Then he started to speak in a different language.  Danny took his hand off and waved it like it burned him. "You okay?" I asked and he nodded. I started to get creeper out as it started to speak in a different language. "Turn it off dan." He tried to turn it off but it wasn't working.

It then zapped him and he yelled out in pain. I walked towards him and he tried to stop it but it didn't work. The book started to flip on its own. Then the lights blew out and the record stopped. The book stopped flipping. Danny walked towards the book and closed it.
