When I woke up the next day, I felt really tired. I was barely able to sleep last night since I was constantly thinking about that kiss.

I somehow managed to get up from the bed and drag myself to the kitchen where I got some milk from the fridge and some cereal to eat.

I slowly ate my breakfast as I kept zoning out and staring at nothing.

I then suddenly remember that I own a phone. I tried to search in my pockets, but since I was still in pyjamas, there were no actual pockets at all.

Feeling more awake after eating, I went back to my bedroom to look for the phone. It was resting screen up on my desk.
I picked it up and turned it on.

As it booted up, I walked to the living room and laid on the couch.

Once it was on, I opened the messaging app just to be flooded with new notifications.

Unknown Number: Hey it's me Hyunjin
Unknown Number: I asked Jeongin your number
Unknown Number: I literally had to beg him and buy him some clothes to get it
Unknown Number: oh shit I wasn't supposed to send that
Hyunjin: anyways
Hyunjin: are you free this afternoon?

I unintentionally let out a laugh. Did he just ask me out though?

You: hi
You: no sorry
You: today I'm busy
You: maybe next time?

Hyunjin: sure
Hyunjin: when is it?
Hyunjin: when are you free?

You: I don't know
You: with the mv shooting it's going to be pretty hectic
You: I'll barely have any time so I don't really know

Hyunjin: ok
Hyunjin: I'll figure something out
Hyunjin: see you on Monday

You: see you

I mentally thanked Johnny for forcing me to hang out with him.

I wasn't really in the mood for going out with Hyunjin, so I had to exaggerate a bit with the hectic part.

I put my phone down on the couch and went to the kitchen to clean up.
Just a few minutes later, when I finished, I laid back on the couch and turned on the TV.

I put on a kdrama and watched a couple of episodes. I glanced at the clock on the wall: it was 2pm, I had to meet up with Johnny at 4, so I still had time to eat something and get ready.

For lunch, I ate some leftovers I found in the fridge and an apple. Then I went to my bedroom and got dressed. I grabbed my purse and the house's keys before leaving.

I walked for a few minutes until I reached a park. I went inside and immediately noticed that Johnny was already there, waiting for me as he was playing games on his phone.

I walked over to him and when he heard my footsteps, he lifted his head and smiled when he saw me.

"Hey Johnny" I greeted him, smiling

"Hey Hanseo, sup?" He asked

"I'm good" I replied "I got some fresh gossip for you"

He squealed happily "Spill. The. Tea."

"Ice cream first" I demanded

"Everything for gossip"

We walked to the small ice cream stall and ordered a hazelnut flavoured ice cream for me and a strawberry one for him.

Johnny paid and then we sat on a bench to eat.

"Okay, tell me" he said, impatiently

I began telling him about the afternoon at the amusement park and the 'kiss' Hyunjin gave me.

Johnny was flabbergasted and was spitting random words and exclamations here and there like "He did what?" "No sis are you for real?" "It's giving wattpad vibes" "When is the wedding?"

"And that's about it" I finished

"Hanseo hear me out" he said, completely serious "You two need to marry each other"

"What the hell Johnny no" I replied "Didn't you hear the part when I thanked your for asking me to hang out with you so that I had an excuse to not go out with him?"

"Yeah my brain blocked out the bullshit" he said "I know that deep down you wanted to hang out with him"

"I didn't" I replied "I'm still thinking about that stupid kiss and I needed you to be my unpaid therapist"

"It's simple. As your therapist, I diagnose you with something called love for Hwang Hyunjin"

"I don't think that's how it works... have you ever even been in love?"

"No..." He said, pouting "But I'm THE Johnny Suh. I was born knowing what love is"

"Yeah sure" I rolled my eyes "But I'm not in love with him"

"Did you enjoy holding hands with him?" He asked

"Yes"

"Did you like it when he hugged you to comfort you when you thought you lost your camera?"

"Yes"

"Did you enjoy that kiss on the cheek he gave you?"

"...yes"

"Do you keep thinking about him even though you're trying to distract yourself?"

"Yes"

"Then it's certain, Hanseo" he stated "You're in love with the one and only Hwang Hyunjin"
