❛ APPEARANCE ❜ —  Turnstone has thick, fluffy fur with a slightly coarser overlay, the softer fur underneath for warmth and comfort. As they are a klinefelter tom, he has a calico pelt, with a main saddle-patch of ginger-brown. Their underbelly is a pure, snowy white, as well as a lopsided splash across the top right half of his face, covering his ear. He also has a left black ear, and both are tufted. There are overlapping black patches on his pelt, and they have a black tail tip. His eyes are a bright green. Their wings are quite large, mostly white with a few patches of ginger and black.
❛ SCARS ❜ — A large jagged one running across their left flank/upper back leg, for when he was a fledged, they were blindsided by a moray eel while fishing off a patch of rocks/reef and was hurt

❛ PERSONALITY ❜ —He is quite a shy cat, tending to be more observant and cautious. They much prefer a calm and quiet environment and is not outgoing as more confident cats are. They don't like loud noises, and surprises are not very fun for him, instead being a source of anxiety. However, once you give them space and allow him to approach you on their own terms, he becomes a lot more open, and will be a loyal and loving friend for life.
He is a restrained cat with a strong self will, but once in a while (especially when he has something to say and no one is listening) he will burst and rage for a few minutes. However, this usually doesn't last long, and he will usually sheepishly apologise afterward.

❛ BACKSTORY ❜ — Raised beside his sister, Egretstalk, and their brother, Dipperflit, he was often ignored by his mother, who looked down on him, and often made known she thought they were "unnatural" for being a male cat with a calico pelt. She and his father did not get on so well after they had kits , and could go days without speaking or interacting. However, soon after his and his siblings' apprenticeships, their mother died while out hunting, and Kittiwakedrift took another mate, a tom this time, who happened to be his mentor : Heronstare. This proved to be a much better pairing, with Heronstare getting to know Turnstonequake better as they trained. When he became a full warrior, he realised that he didn't feel completely male, and decided that he was a demiboy.Their father and foster father accepted his new gender. Around this time, their other brother, Dunlinpaw fell sick with greencough. Turnstonequake was hit hard when he died, and has always wondered what would've happed if he had noticed sooner perhaps, or if he had been a better sibling and helped more.
