With a unanimous decision, the group set forth from the forest, their determined footsteps echoing against the uneven terrain. The dense trees slowly gave way to a narrow trail, which in turn led them to a worn-out road. As they stepped onto the cracked pavement, a sense of both relief and trepidation settled in their hearts. This road was their pathway to the unknown, a route that could lead them to safety or expose them to even greater danger.

The road stretched ahead, an endless ribbon cutting through the landscape. Each step carried them farther away from the familiar forest and deeper into the desolate expanse. The sky above was painted in shades of orange and pink as the sun began its descent, casting long shadows that stretched across the road.

As they walked, conversations ebbed and flowed among the group. Their voices, though hushed, held a thread of optimism as they talked about what might await them in the town ahead. They discussed the possibility of finding supplies, shelter, and perhaps even other survivors who had managed to weather the storm of the apocalypse.

After walking for what felt like forever, they finally reached a town. The town was so quiet, no sounds at all. Looking around, it was clear that this town, too, fell victim to the deadly disease that had taken so many lives. The gruesome scene included lifeless bodies scattered everywhere, some with their heads or hands torn apart. What were once happy faces now lay motionless and devoid of any emotion.

"I think we should find somewhere safe, especially since it's getting dark, and you know zombies can see at night," Namjoon suggested.

"Yeah, that sounds like a good idea," Yoongi agreed, glancing at Jimin, who had a pained expression but was trying to hide it.

They all started searching for a secure place to hide. Jungkook made sure Taehyung stayed close, as usual. They stumbled upon a police station that seemed better than the others—less dirty and not as filled with blood. Still, they checked the place thoroughly to ensure no zombies were lurking.

"I'm so tired," Jin sighed, sitting on the chief's chair. They were in the office, doors closed for safety.

"Am I the only one hungry?" Hoseok asked, rising from the couch he had been lying on.

"It's normal to be extremely hungry after walking for hours, Hoseok," replied Namjoon

"I'm craving bulgogi. If it wasn't for the apocalypse, I would be streaming 'Eat Jin,'" Jin whispered to himself, but everyone heard it.

They all missed their old lives, but Jungkook felt a mix of emotions thinking about the past. He missed the way life used to be before everything turned upside down. Yet, in the midst of the chaos, there was a silver lining that warmed his heart. He found comfort in knowing that, even though the world had crumbled around them, it led him to Taehyung.

In the quiet moments of reflection, Jungkook realized that without the apocalypse, he might never have crossed paths with Taehyung. He would have never found him again, wouldn't be staying this close to him and staring at him lovingly.

Jungkook rested his head on Taehyung's shoulder, sighing in relief. He felt like he was finally home.

Taehyung looked down at Jungkook. They sat on the floor away from the others. Taehyung's left hand found its way to Jungkook's hair, his fingers playing with it. "Aren't you hungry?" Taehyung asked quietly.

"I am, but I don't have the energy to get up," Jungkook replied burrying his face deeper into Taehyung's neck.

Before Taehyung could finish, Jungkook grabbed his hands, silently urging him to not leave. "Stay," Jungkook whispered.

"By the way, where's Yoongi and Jimin?" Jin asked, looking around.

"They were with us, but I saw them leaving together before entering here," Taehyung replied.

Hearing this, Jin muttered, "It's not safe outside."

"Me & Sung-jae will go find the kitchen and cook these."  Hoseok said, motioning towards instant cup noodles. " and will call them on our way back," After getting nods from the others, they left, and the room fell silent.
