The year is 2018, on a warm summer day. Our main character, Lennix is a fifteen-year-old at high school. Lennix, sadly, is often bullied because of her pronouns and looks.

Lennix has mostly white wavy hair, with a bit of purple in it. She usually keeps it pinned back with a small jeweled clip.

Believe it or not, Lennix was actually born with light purple hair, which is already quite rare in itself.

Unfortunately, Lennix developed something called Marie Antoinette Syndrome. This syndrome causes parts of your hair to turn white from being extremely stressed. It is very rare: Even more rare than being born with purple hair, and it's actually somewhat of a 'bad miracle' that Lennix developed it.

She also has the rarest type of heterochromia; her left eye is deep purple, and her right eye is a beautiful silver.

Even though Lennix was born a boy, she didn't feel right about being male. Now, she goes by she/her pronouns.

Lennix suffers from severe depression and anxiety. As well as gender dysphoria, which can get pretty bad, too.

Her home life also isn't the best; Her dad deadnames her all the time, calling her Alaric. Her mom is a drunk, often hitting her when she goes to her for help.

''Why can't you just accept me!'' Lennix yells at her father. ''Because it's wrong! You're wrong! You were born a boy, Alaric! You will stay a boy!''

''But I'm a girl! I already told you, I don't feel right as a boy!'' She yells louder, as if that would make her father understand quicker.

''Who the hell is yelling!'' her mother screams, ''I am! What are you going to do about it, woman?!''

''Don't you dare talk to your mother like that, young man! You will respect us!'' her father yells, spit flying into her face. ''I am not a man!'' the teenager yells.

In the blink of an eye, you can hear the harsh sound of skin hitting skin. Lennix is cradling her cheek, which is quickly turning purple, in her hand. Her eyes are tearing up.

''Young man, I have raised you, I have put a roof over your head, I have fed you! And yet, you still disrespect me? I'm doing this for your own good, don't you see! I want you to go to Heaven, not Hell!''

Lennix is shaking now. Not in fear, but in rage. Pure, undulated rage. She quickly stands up, having fallen to the floor when her father hit her.

''You want to know something, old man! You're supposed to do all that! You're supposed to put a roof over my head, you're supposed to raise me, you're supposed to feed me! You took that responsibility when you and mom decided you loved each other so much, you just had to have me!"

''You want to know what I think? I don't give a damn if I go to Hell, because at least I actually lived my life being and loving who I want!''

She pauses, taking a deep breath ''And you know what, I hate you!'' her voice steadily grows until it's a scream. She quickly runs up to her room; the door slamming behind her.
