Rani growled and laid on the rock. Nirmala had put her under temporary tree arrest. Rani wasn't able to leave the Tree for three days.

Nirmala had thrown up when she noticed the lion hanging like that, but the body was taken care of now.

Kion gasped as Nirmala told him the news, "She what!"

"Skinned a lion alive," Nirmala replied.

"What the fuck is wrong with her!"

"She's mentally ill, Kion. It's not her fault," Nirmala explained.

"Of course you'd say that. She isn't trying to kill you!"

Nirmala sighed, "I've tried to help her, but she won't stop. It's like all she can hear is herself and whatever we say, she twists it into us saying yes to what she's doing."

"Wait, so she's actually suffering? She isn't doing this just for fun?" Kion asked.

"Yes she's suffering, but I also think she's doing this for fun."

Kion sighed and started to pace back and forth, "How do we help her?"

"That, I'm not quite sure of," Nirmala replied.

"Well let's start brainstorming."

Rani started to get seriously bored. She groaned in annoyance and rolled over. She was facing the entrance and spotted something. She lifted her muzzle in the air and sniffed for a few moments. Then she growled, "Lion."

Rani disobeyed her healers orders and ran toward the mountain pass. As she was running, she was suddenly knocked over. Rani groaned in pain and opened her eyes. To her suprise, she saw Kion.

"Rani! I've been looking for you!"

Rani stared at him in confusion.

"Nirmala told me everything. I'm sorry about what happened to you," Kion apologized.

Rani growled, "Don't ever bring up my past!"

"I'm sorry."

Rani grabbed his throat and smirked, "I think it's high time you've finally gotten your torture and death."

Kion tried pushing her paw away from his throat, but she was stronger than she looked.

Rani perked her ears up and turned toward the mountain pass. There were about four lions there. Ironically, they were all males.

Rani turned her gaze back to Kion, "Be a good boy and stay here while I get those germ infested creatures. If you stay still, I might just make your death a bit faster."

Kion narrowed his eyes, "I tried apologizing to you even though I've done nothing wrong. I tried to help you, but you're set on your goal. So, I guess it's time you find out who you're messing with.

Before Rani had time to react, Kion roared at her.

Rani's eye's widened and she was blown back and landed hard on the ground.
