Nina walked out of the bush she was hiding in, she sniffed around, making sure it was safe. When she walked a few paces, she froze and just stared. The lioness who had killed her mother was now eating the insides of her Uncle Kion.

"U-Uncle Kion?" She whimpered and slowly padded forward.

The lioness eating him quickly lifted up her heard and stared at her, blood coating her face.

Nina gasped, "Y-You killed both of them?"

Nina gasped, "Y-You killed both of them?"

"Yep. The one and only Rani killed your mother and Uncle Kion," Rani giggled.

Nina felt something strange at her paws. She looked down and noticed sharp claws. Her mother told her about these. They can be used for killing.

Rani noticed, "So, you wanna fight huh?"

Nina looked back at Rani who towered over her and started shaking.

Rani cleaned the blood off her face and kicked Kion's body away, "Bring it."

Nina looked back at Kion's body and felt an emotion she was unsure of, but she remembered her mother telling her about this kind of emotion. It was anger.

This emotion boiled through Nina easily and she snarled at Rani, "Fine. Let's fight."

Rani laughed and got into a fighting stance, "I'm going to rip you limb from limb and spread your organs and blood onto the ground in a delicious painting." Rani licked her muzzle and stared at Nina, hungrily.

Nina growled and lunged at Rani, claws unsheathed. Rani grinned and slammed the cub down onto the ground. Nina groaned in pain and looked up at Rani.

Rani watched her and didn't give any emotion. "I'll kill you just like I did to Kion."

She got ready to dig her claws into Nina, but she felt something in her throat, slowly making blood drip out of her mouth. She looked down to see that Nina had stabbed a large stick into her neck.

More blood flooded out of Rani's mouth and oozed out of her neck. She coughed and stumbled to keep her balance.

Nina stared at Rani, not believing what she had done.

Rani looked at Nina, then ran off, a trail of blood following her.

Nina sat up and watched as Rani ran away. She'd done it. Rani was gone.

Rani continued running, her chest and muzzle were coated with blood, glistening brightly in the moonlight.

She gasped as she collapsed onto the ground, making even more of a gory mess on the grass. She gasped for breath and stood up, continuing to run again.

She ran into The Tree Of Life and dug her claws into the ground, watching her blood slowly drip onto the ground, until more started pouring out. Her eyes widened.

Rani collapsed onto the ground and coughed up even more blood

Rani collapsed onto the ground and coughed up even more blood.

She stared at the rock as her vision got blurry, eventually leading into darkness.

Nina slowly walked back to Priderock, where the land was burned down and ruined. She sighed and nodded. She'd have to fix it and repopulate the lands. It would be hard for a cub to do, but she defeated a monster. Nothing is too much for her.

"Who are you?"

Nina turned around to see a male cub a little older than her. "Oh. I'm just thinking of how to fix these lands. We can't leave them like this."

"Yeah. But at least it's better than those woods," He laughed.

Nina chuckled. She liked this cub.

"Well, let's get fixing!" He smiled and ran off.

"Wait! Whats your name?" Nina asked.

"Oh, sorry. Name's Syon. And you?" He asked.

"I'm Nina," She smiled.

"Great! Now let's go!" He ran off and Nina quickly followed.

Rani felt her final breaths leave her body. She shook and trembled before finally going still.

She woke up between two lines. She looked up and spotted a beautiful sky with clouds and lions happily talking with each other. She looked down and saw a dark red, tree covered place. It was haunting and unsettling. Rani tried climbing up to the more sunny place, but tree branches grabbed onto her limbs and pulled her down into the haunting woods, enclosing her.

She looked around and spotted only a couple lions. But one caught her eye, "Scar?"

She had never met him before, but his story was inspiring.

Scar just huffed and ignored her. Rani snarled and glared at him.

"I guess this is what hell is like."

A lion suddenly walked up to her. His body was so faded it was like he wasn't there.

"You still haven't won," He growled. "You didn't kill them all."

"I don't know who you are, but I tried. I just couldn't finish the stupid job," Rani growled.

The lion smirked, "What if I told you there was a way."

Rani looked at him, intrigued, "Tell me."
