Eddie:
I was sitting on the porch, drinking my tea.. and looking at the sunset in the sky, it's so beautiful the way that the pink and orange blend together, bits of purple swirling into the bottom. It looks fun to paint.. oh speaking of which, I took up painting, I know I know. It doesn't seem like something I would enjoy, and I thought so too, it doesn't seem it would be "metal" enough for me. But ever since I've been with Steve... I've learned to accept the softer parts of life. So now I've embraced painting, my favorite painting is probably one I did with Steve.. it was of the night sky, it is really bad. But that's what makes it ours.. suddenly I feel someone's hand on my shoulder "Eddie!! Guess what I found" Steve exclaimed. I jump and chuckle "what?" I ask. "I said guess.. so guess" Steve mutters into my ear while he wraps his hands around me. "Uh... you finally learned how d&d works..?" I guess. "No no.." Steve chuckles "I found an old photo book from our highschool years!" Steve beamed. My face lights up and I quickly snatch the book from him. "Hey! Give that back asshole!" Steve huffed. "Nope, I gotta look through it" I chuckle. I flip to the first page... its me and Steve ice skating, me mid fall and Steve just laughing at me... I remember it like it was yesterday.
*Flash back*
"Jesus Steve help me up!" I yell. I glare at Steve as he laughs at me. I end up falling onto my ass. "You are such an idiot" Steve grins "Shut up, I wasn't asking you" I grumble. Steve leans down and kisses me softly while he helps me up. "You're adorable" Steve teases. "Its not my fault I didn't go skating as a child because I'm poor!" I defend myself. "Whatever. You're still a dork" Steve chuckles. "Let go of me I don't wanna be around you any longer" I grumble. "Okay" Steve says with a cocky grin and drops me, causing me to fall face first into the ice. I just glare at him while I try to get up. I keep slipping so I eventually give up trying to get up and just grab Steve's hand to help me up. Steve smiles "spin with me eddie" he exclaimed. He grabs my hands and we start to spin on the ice. I grab onto his hands way to tightly, my ice cold breath shaking, my fingers wrapped around Steve's. Then Steve let's go of my hands, he somehow got lost in the moment and forgot I can't skate. The sudden loss of balance and speed sends me flying into a tree. "Holy shit! I'm sorry, Eddie are you okay?" Steve worried. I just chuckle and look up at him. "Don't worry I've had much worse falls then this" I comfort Steve. After Steve finally calms down, he gets this look on his face.. and I just know he's about to make fun of me. "Y'know who you remind me of? Bambi" Steve snickers.
"I am not that wimpy ass dear! I am much cooler then that dear" I defend myself; however it was too late. "I should start calling you bambi" Steve replied. "If you call me Bambi I reserve the right to refer to you as princess." I simply smirk; knowing I've left Steve with no options here. Steve just sighs and helps me up from the tree. "Thank you princess" I tease him. "Hey! I didn't call you Bambi so you can't call me princess." Steve protests. I chuckle and say "well right now we aren't on the ice, so you have nothing to stop me" I grin. Steve starts to come up with a reply but suddenly stops as a snowflake lands on his nose.. its adorable the way he stops and stares at it. I kiss the tip of his nose; melting the snowflake. "You are a dick" Steve grumbles. I just laugh and kiss him again. We go and find a near by bench and take our skates off together. We put them into a bag we brought just for this. Then I pull Steve up by his hands and I start walking along the path through the park with him. Looking at the mounds of snow and icicles. "Make a snow man with me!" I exclaim. Steve just sighs and looks at me lovingly. He starts rolling the bottom of the snow man as I search for things to be his eyes, arms, nose, all of that really. Eventually Steve has a fully rolled snow man; while I haven't found a single thing to decorate it with. I grab my hat and put it on the snow man. I didn't wanna do this but I've been left with no choice; I rip off two branches from a tree and stick them into the snow man for arms. Steve finds two rocks. "How did you find those but I found none!?" I question. Steve just laughs and finishes the snow man.*End of flashback*
"That was fun" Steve sighs with a smile. "Yeah, we should totally go out in the snow again this winter.. as long as you don't compare me to Bambi." I glare at him. "What can I say Bambi? Its a fun nickname" Steve mocked me playfully. I glare at him. "Alrighty then princess you brought this apon yourself." I reply. We both laugh. Steve gets up and makes himself some tea. He sits back down next to me. We hold hands, sip our tea, and stare at the sunset.
